If you’re tired of the complete lack of expression in Hip Hop you’re not alone. Which is why it was infinitely refreshing to check out Orlando, US-based Rap artist’s third single “No Trust”. The amount of honesty behind the lyrics almost made the track abrasive, yet, it’s a sentiment that we can all get behind. YC Prince clearly isn’t an artist who is afraid to say what’s on his mind and I have no doubt that it will be his no holds barred style which will ensure that he doesn’t stay on the underground for long. Behind the lyric-driven mix is the midtempo steady rhythm of the beat, which packs in plenty of intricacy to create an immersive fresh soundscape which has a contemporary Hip Hop vibe, yet, it’s still a track that Old School fans can get behind.
