Voodoo Kid have proven that there is no better introduction to a New Metal Pop Punk track than a Muse style bass riff before the rolling, punching rhythm of the instrumentals kicks into effect. Voodoo Kid possess all that you could possibly ask from a Pop Punk outfit, zealously strong vocals and an anthemic layering of instrumentals created by the prowess of the ragingly tight riffs and melodies. Whilst the New Mexico based collective don’t have an especially fresh take on sound, their delicious guitar licks and cacophonous drum rolls create the perfect aural alchemy of raucous revelry that no self-respecting Rock n’ Roll fan could turn their nose up at.
