Since the 90s Kelly Rowland has been an iconic figure in R&B and Pop, so, it was always a matter of time before an aural ode was paid to her by an up and coming R&B Hip Hop artist. Any fans of Skepta are sure to appreciate what C-bass cooked up for his trippy and immersive mix which uses a soft lyrical versing style to make slipping into the ambience of the single all too easy.
As much as I appreciated the vibe of the single, it was easy to feel that there wasn’t all too much energy put behind the performance, this means that with the repeated choruses it can become slightly repetitive. Yet, there’s no disputing that C-bass’ latest single carries plenty of smooth appeal making it the perfect track to put on your vibe-out playlists.
