We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of Yeray Rivera’s latest single “Dreamtime Memories”; the up and coming artist may not have the most distinctive style of R&B Pop we’ve ever heard, but there are plenty of reasons to fall enamoured by the soft and sweepingly rhythmic soundscapes.
The slow and sonorous progressions of the single allow you to appreciate the melancholy in the lack of momentum. The tentative pacing was an excellent stylistic choice to allow the contemporarily resonant vocals to truly hit where they were intended while the crisp and clear production on the single flooded the track with commercial potential.
You’ll have to wait a little longer before you can check out the single for yourself, but you’ll be in for a treat when it drops.
