“Killin’ Carl” is the exceptionally ominous Hip Hop Rap track from the up and coming artist Tyme Keepur.
I’ll be honest, I was incredibly perplexed at just why Carl deserves a bullet in his head, but the track was an offering of pure ingenuity considering that I can’t say that I’ve ever been that immersed in Rap lyrics. Killin’ Carl is almost an aural murder mystery as you try to unravel the motivation behind the contempt, and with Tyme Keepur’s relentless lyrical waxing style, he doesn’t make it all that easy to find a place in the narrative where it all comes together. The fast tempo beats with incorporate orchestral layers brought into the mix allowed Killin’ Carl with an intense amount of suspense which you won’t be able to forget in a hurry.
