It doesn’t take any amount of psychic vision to see Tyler Rose blowing up with his accessibly sticky sweet New Wave Trap sound. “Wasted Life” is the first track to be dropped by the up and coming artist, songwriter and producer – but don’t expect any hints that Tyler Rose is fresh from inception.
Urban artists have been under a lot of fire in recent months for the lack of relatable content put out in 2018, yet, Wasted Life paints one of the most poignant pictures of our contemporary society and apathy.
No holds were barred in Wasted Life, which may only run for 2:22-minutes, but the depth of the lyricism paired with the intricately smooth flavour of the beat will make sure that you won’t forget the haunting energy of the track for long after it has faded to a close.
