With Mathilda Ferm’s melodic vocals over the chopping guitar riffs, Poison comes together as a polished offering of Rock with an infusion of Pop, Pop Punk and Emo. The hard rock instrumentals sit in perfect synergy with each other offering a potent serving of momentum, while the vocals remain clean and magnetic.
It took powerful vocals to sit so perceptibly above the mix of high-octane riffs and crashing drums whilst simultaneously feeding into the anthemic energy of the single; it’s safe to say we won’t be forgetting Deserved in a hurry.
