I’m sure the Static Dive will quickly tire of being told their sound has reminiscence to the work of artists such as David Bowie and E.L.O. But with their sonically psychedelic approach there’s no better way to allude to how magnetic their soundscapes are, which is especially the case for the up and coming Alt Rock band’s latest single “Built for Better Days”, which transports you back to a simpler time when there was plenty of Funk and Groove carved into tracks of a more raucous inclination.
Built for Better Days is the new project from New York-based artist R.P. Smith who is no stranger when it comes to creating eccentrically sweet offerings of aural expression. Anyone who appreciates a progressive style of Alt Rock are sure to be enamoured with the vibrant sound from the Static Dive.
