When Deep House Big Beats have you itching to hike up the volume to let the reverberance envelop you, you know you’ve just stumbled across a caustic aural gem. Which is exactly what happened when we stumbled across the title track from the album “PlusUltra” by London-based artist The Mary X Incident. PlusUltra is a slightly more rhythmic offering than the other (deliciously) harsher soundscapes on the album which are sure to enamour any fans of the Chemical Brothers, the Prodigy and Propellerheads.
Even around the harsher elements of the electronic soundscape the synth-reverb still layers the track with a searing light tonality adding an infinite amount of texture to the sound which most Tech House producers could only dream of manifesting in their sound.
You can check out PlusUltra from the Mary X Incident for yourselves by heading over to Bandcamp now.
