If you felt a slight tremor on their airwaves on January 30th, that will have been thanks to Kent-based Alt Psych Indie Pop trailblazers The Gallerys and their latest single “You’re a Dreamer”.
You’re a Dreamer kicks off with an explosive start before the melodicism weaves its way into the punchy, animated, and meticulously rhythmic track. Vocals certainly don’t make or break a track. But in You’re a Dreamer, there’s no denying that they take the Gallerys sound to another level. You’ll be able to feel the sticky sweet choral vocals wrap around your soul as you drink in the dynamically colourful mix of 60s Rock, Indie and Britpop. It’s a monstrous track, but with the mellow tonality, those massive riffs and percussion fills almost feel transcendent.
The Gallerys are undoubtedly a band who are going to tear up the UK music scene in 2020. They’ve already made their riotous mark by capturing the attention of BBC introducing, and getting over 300 live shows under their belt. If you’ve lost any faith in the music industry, The Gallerys will be more than happy to restore it for you.
