Tatum Quinn is nobody’s fool in her fiery pop-rock anthem Short Supply

Montreal-born and raised Berklee college grad Tatum Quinn rolled with the pop-rock punches in her latest single, Short Supply. Not that she has to prove she is a force to be reckoned with after opening for Kool and the Gang, the Pointer Sisters and April Wine. But if any track asserts her unreckonable talent, it’s Short Supply, which galvanizingly proves that she’s nobody’s fool.

With atomically powerful pop vocals laying down the hooks over the stadium-filling crunchy guitars and adrenalizing percussion, it is all too easy to get caught up in the no holds barred account of Quinn’s lack of patience for usury hacks who will use emotional blackmail to claw their way back into a relationship they took for granted.

Ending the trailblazingly authentic anthem with “go fuck yourself” followed by an affable giggle, we couldn’t help falling in love with Quinn’s emboldening motive to create inspirational music that advocates empowered autonomy that little bit more.

Short Supply will officially release on November 10th. Catch it here.

Love Angeles – Invincible: A Sticky-Sweet Earworm Which Grabs You and Refuses To Let Go

Straight off the bat, Love Angeles’ massive new Indie Pop hit “Invincible” grabs you and utterly refuses to let go.

All too often, tracks with titles such as ‘Invincible’ can seem trite before you even hit play, but Love Angeles offers the sincerity that the Pop genre has been crying out for. As the high-octane electric hit courses through its progressions, you can expect to feel some pretty intense fuzzy feelings, you might also feel a little in awe of the delectable smorgasbord of stylistic prowess on offer in Invincible. Rock and Pop perfectly entwine to create a universally enticing to record. I can’t help but feel a little excited about what comes next.

Ruby Drive put a Horror Punk Twist on Pop Punk with “Fruit Punch and Arsenic”

https://rubydrive.bandcamp.com/track/fruit-punch-and-arsenic

US Alt Pop-Punk trailblazers Ruby Drive dropped their latest scathingly rhythmic single “Fruit Punch and Arsenic” on May 6th. If you missed it, you missed out on a timely record which offers scuzz, angst and importantly an outlet for the anger we’ve been feeling throughout 2020.

Any fans of the Misfits are definitely going to want to hear their Horror Punk twist on Pop-Punk which can be found in the discordantly ominous instrumental tone and lyrics.

Lyrically, Fruit Punch and Arsenic is somewhere in between the tale of Sid and Nancy and the far more romantic saga between Romeo and Juliette. A striking narrative of two lost souls attempting to shield each other from inescapable misery, ending with an arsenic cocktail. Who said romance was dead?

You can listen to Fruit Punch and Arsenic for yourselves by heading over to Bandcamp.
