UK artist Glenn Godfrey sings with loving memories on ‘I Wish‘ (Official Lyric Video) and this is a fine song from a caring singer with a strong voice. He makes music in honor of his late Dad, his biggest fan and this is a top single with meaning.

A singer-songwriter from Essex, who has had the privilege of performing alongside some great artists such as, Tom Odell, Professor Green, Devlin, Mark Ronson and The Fratellis, Glenn is building up his name in the UK music scene.

You love them so much and things are great. Then you get the call that you had been dreading. Things are going to be different now and you wish that things were so different. Life will be harder but you must be strong and do what you love. Making music will keep you strong.

Glenn Godfrey is terrific on ‘I Wish‘ (Official Lyric Video) as this is a difficult topic to deal with. This is a lovely indie song with lots of layers full of wonderful vocals and the delivery is flawless. A fine effort indeed from the UK singer.

Ettie sings with delicious vocals on ‘Pepsi’

Singer-songwriter Ettie is back with more fantastic music on ‘Pepsi‘.

Ettie is an up and coming singer-songwriter from London, who drinks a lot of wine and has a lot of feelings. She infuses classic pop-punk melodies with personal, storytelling narratives. Her unique sound coupled with her background in English Literature allows for an immersive sonic experience, using word play and allusion to bring her songs to life.

You hate the way they talk their way up and aren’t sure if they are right for you, you go with it however. After a while, reality strikes and you start to regret what is going on. The temptation starts to fade however and things need to move quickly otherwise you will go home.

Ettie’s influences are Paramore, Avril Lavigne, Pale Waves, 80s synth pop, Kim Wilde, Patti Smith, L Devine. She has played at many London venues, supporting acts like Calvin Rodgers. This new song was self-written and produced by Charles Westropp in his studio. The song is highly influenced by 80s synth-pop to bring a classic delivery to a classic story.

‘Pepsi‘ is Ettie’s pop fantasy. She turns towards commercial from her classic pop-punk roots to establish herself as a true alt-pop artist. The song is about not having a dazzling connection with someone, but deciding to go with it anyway; like when you ask for a Coke in a restaurant and they ask if pepsi is okay? It’s not exactly what you ordered but it’s a start.

This is a sweet song with such interesting lyrics from Ettie on her new song ‘Pepsi‘. The way she expresses herself is so fantastic and this is a true tale of nights out after a few drinks. I love her music and she is like no other artist. This is a good thing.

Pop Music for Misfits is back with the always exciting singer-songwriter Carla J Easton on her new song called ”Never Mind”.

Carluke, Scotland is the home for the electric Carla J Easton who has been a member of the bands Futuristic Retro Champions and TeenCanteen. She is also currently is the keyboard player for The Vaselines while also pursuing a solo career, first under the name Ette and now under the name Carla J. Easton. Music is the heart and soul of this artist who’s vocals always makes you listen so close. She is so creative and her style is just a joy and filled with love.

”Never Mind” from Scotland’s high-rising talent Carla J Easton is about wasting time with someone that you really fancied. It burnt for ages but you know that now it is off your mind and you have moved on. You have seen through the curtain and they showed you a side you won’t be a part of. This is the coming out party and you are ready to accept everything and not let this consume you.

Carla J Easton impresses yet again and makes you appreciate her wonderful talent. Synth-Pop filled ”Never Mind” deserves to be in ears all over the world as it’s one of the most delightful listens you will hear this year.

Conrad Ashton is an entertaining singer-songwriter from Spennymoor, County Durham in the United Kingdom. He is a popular artist in the UK and returns with a new song called ”Like No One Else Do”.

This artist likes to evolve his sound and shares his modern rock creations that are firmly rooted in the classic pop sound. After being inspired at the tender 9 years old when he witnessed Pete Townshend’s exhilarating stage presence at Live 8, this changed Conrad’s life forever. He knew he wanted to make music and soon after picked up a guitar. This is the power of music and how it can change your perception and inspire.
