George Bien – scared of planes w/ emily: Emotionally Raw, Sonically Ethereal Trap

Lil Peep left plenty of inspiration in his wake; a potent shot of it can be found in the latest single, scared of planes, by the up and coming alt hip hop artist, George Bien.

In the ambient and atmospheric track, the confessional lyricism stings as it resonates, but there’s no taking the catharsis out of the dreamy mellifluous grooves. George Bien has exactly what it takes to define the future of hip hop with his emotionally raw, sonically ethereal style that we can’t wait to hear more of. At 21-years old, the Santa Cruz-based newcomer has already proven his pioneer potential. He is a force to be reckoned with from here on out.

No Time: Swiss trap artist RONI wonders why people are so close-minded on ‘U Aint Mine’

With his first single in over one year as he recreated his sound and took time to take stock of his career up until now, RONI returns with a truly inspirational comeback track all about eloquently articulating what you want and don’t want with ‘U Aint Mine‘.

RONI is a Swiss indie trap rapper and music producer who makes a remarkable blend of speaker-catchy vibes that has your heart shaking with enthusiasm.

RONI shows us what we have been missing out on with his latest smoothly pitched single. There is so much fire in his belly when he raps, as we sit back and let him take us on a ride to that much-awaited self-enlightened state.

U Aint Mine‘ from the majestic Swiss indie trap rapper and music producer RONI, is a sizzling track all about opening up your eyes to your own visualizations. With so many people walking around like sheep just accepting whatever is said, this is an honest track that has been made with a true purpose to help the world. Rapped with intent like no other song you will hear this year, this is a real concious-seeking effort from an artist on a mission to be heard in this rather noisy world.

Skyqru delivered the permission to ‘Let Go’ in their latest mellow trap hit.

The LA/Vegas alt-hip hop collective, Skyqru, formed during the most uncertain months of the pandemic in 2020 to uplift the world while locking horns with socio-political issues and breaking the stigma of personal issues.

After the success of their debut album, Pollution, they’ve dropped their single, Let Go, which is well on its way to going viral with over 33k streams on Spotify alone since the recent release. The mellow indie trap track takes a compassionate approach to unshackle you from things that no longer serve you. Skyqru truly is the Elliott Smith of hip hop with their soft melodies, ethereal atmosphere and raw lyricism.

It is always perceptible how much artists throw themselves into their music; you’d be hard-pressed to find other rap artists that personally and honestly invest so heavily in their craft. It is no surprise that their sound is garnering so much attention.

Let Go is available to stream on Spotify.

She Do Anything For A Dollar: Perth rapper Young Pascal reminds us to stay true to our valuable hearts on flashing 5th single ‘City Lights’ (feat. Kid Rey and Perry P)

On a highly relatable track about meeting someone with so many stars in their eyes as they do silly things just for an ultimately worthless follow or like, Young Pascal is utterly brilliant on this latest single all about staying away from things that don’t actually matter with ‘City Lights(feat. Kid Rey and Perry P).

Young Pascal is a youthfully promising Perth, Australia-based indie trap artist who raps about important topics, that are highly prevalent in society during these confusing modern times.

City lights is all about getting lost in the sauce and losing yourself to chasing that temporary kick of happiness in life which happens to more and more people nowadays and an example is clout-chasing. People are so infatuated with their likes or follower count to feel like they are worthy, they’re getting blinded by the lights!” ~ Young Pascal

With a steady flow and smartly-penned lyrics about how easy it is to fall into the devilish trap that so many stumble easily into, this is a bass-bouncing warning that has your heart sore with sorrow that this actually happens. The flashing lights and addictive comparison social media can really suck you in so quickly, as this true story grabs you quickly like watching an engrossing movie.

City Lights(feat. Kid Rey and Perry P) from the prodigious Australian rapper Young Pascal, is an outstanding effort from three top-notch artists who bring their best to the fore here. With raps of high quality and a background beat that has you nodding your head, this is up there with the best tracks in this genre from 2021.

Keeping your valuable soul away from the temptation filled potholes of heart destruction seems to be one of the most important missions of modern-day life.

Stalking You: Brooklyn rapper Romayne is the lone ranger in this frightful town with ‘Watching Who’

With his laser-locked eyes pierced and ready for that moment to make that all-important move, Romayne returns with the not-joking new single that will have you on edge looking around called ‘Watching Who‘.

Romayne is an Atlanta-born, Brooklyn, New York-based model, videographer, music producer, and indie trap/soul hip-hop artist who loves to flow with a genuine ripple that streams a wave of thought-provoking music at all times.

A featured model in music videos with Fetty Wap, Tory Lanez, J Lo and others.” ~ Romayne

He takes his sunglasses off and cleans them up for a second until his mind is distracted by that person who he can’t stop looking at. This is that kind of story – which has you totally intrigued – by perhaps someone who you shouldn’t even be looking at.

Rapped with reckless abandon by a man on a mission, you feel his intent swirling from the seas of this heavy track that shows you his moves tonight. The night-lit sky of a beat is rather eerie and a bit freaky at times, as you blend in with the crowd to see what is really going to go down here.

Watching Who‘ from Brooklyn, New York-based indie trap/soul/rapper and all-round creative with an eye for detail Romayne is a haunting track from an artist – who has his binoculars on right now – as he looks for that sweet person who totally encapsulates his inner soul, to burst with excitement. With a crisp beat that has you bobbing your head around all groovy, this is a fierce track that needs to be taken seriously.

Dark Pop Meets Hip Hop in Snapdibz’ latest single, Rivals featuring Rey Khan

There is nothing on the airwaves as raw as a hip hop artist throwing away every last shred of ego and pretence to show the softer side of their soul; case in point, Snapbidz latest single, Rivals, featuring Rey Khan.

When I hit play on what I thought would be yet another confrontational diss track, a stunningly pensive mash of RnB, trap, and pop started to pull me into the soul of the single that carries just as much, if not more, conviction as the harshest of rap hits.

The slight vibrato on Rey Khan’s trap pop vocals and Snapbidz animated bars over the minor key melodies is enough to test your soul’s capacity to feel as it climbs the charts.

Rivals is now available to stream via Spotify.

Jambon goes interstellar with his spacey new wave hip hop track, Beam Me Up.

Spacey hip hop pioneer, Jambon released his latest RnB-laced interstellar hit, Beam Me Up, on October 29th and created a brand-new trajectory in the evolution of rap in the process.

With new wave trap elements grinding alongside old school grooves and electronic textures that have never before found their place in hip hop beats, Beam Me Up is a refreshingly high vibe track that allows you to transcend with the psychy energy alone before you even take into account the meta poetry in the lyrics and Jambon’s cleverly distorted semi-harmonic pop-rap vocals.

Beam Me Up is available to stream on Spotify, or you can check out the official video via YouTube.

Lolo GB is On Flex in his latest alt-hip hop single.

https://youtu.be/m1zMQ-tPUi4

Southside Chicago rap artist, Lolo GB, dropped his atmospheric drill track, On Flex, on October 23rd; prepare your vibe-out playlists for an immersively arresting addition.

The short and trippy track grooves through an ambiently wavy production through the bass-heavy 808 hits and reverb-drenched notes under Lolo GB’s deadpan yet dynamic rap bars. The production may not be the cleanest or the most robust, but that works in Lolo GB’s favour with the catharsis that this firecracker of an alt-hip hop can deliver as it works through its spacey lo-fi grooves.

On Flex is now available to stream on YouTube.

PARTYNXISE has released his pitch-black Avant Garde trap track, iREMEMBERu.

After making his 2021 debut, alt independent artist, PARTYNXISE, has continued to douse the airwaves with ethereal experimentalism; his latest single, iREMEMBERu, is a psychedelically dark feat of avant-garde trap pop that uses its extended prelude to set a chillingly sombre tone.

After the phantasmal whispers and droning ambient electronica, iREMEMBERu breaks into a glitchy feat of polyphonic trip-hop filled with modern trap textures and visceral emotion as PARTYNXISE runs through pained memories. Breakups can take us to pretty dark places, but the pitch-black atmosphere in iREMEBERu is matchless.

iREMEMBERu is available to stream on all major platforms via this link.
