Pr0xy drops on his knees and asks for that love to return on new single, ‘Picture On My Phone’

As he flips to the image he knows shouldn’t trigger those feelings but still does nonetheless, Pr0xy gazes in a daydream and wishes that this sweet love would come back and be more simple this time on ‘Picture On My Phone‘.

Pr0xy is a 19-year old West Tennessee, USA-based indie multi-genre artist who intertwines alt-rap, trap-metal, pop-punk and grunge into one original piece of art.

His music comes deep from his emotions, feelings, and past experiences. From heartbreak to abuse, first love to great memories, the inspiration is everywhere.” ~ Pr0xy

Singing with a really contemplative look into a former romance that was loaded with laughs but ultimately more pain than was needed, Pr0xy is so honest and leads us into this fiery time – that he misses so much – but know that the memory should be fading away quicker than it is. This is a real anthem for anyone who has dealt with trauma in love before and needs that reassurance, that they are not alone in haggling with these conflicting emotions.

Picture On My Phone‘ from West Tennessee, USA-based indie alt-rap/trap-metal solo musician Pr0xy, is a dynamic single that has you recalling back to the time when you were in a relationship that was strained but the good times were amazing. The overriding feeling is that you wish that you could kiss again and make everything better, but know that ultimately you aren’t good for each other as the mental strain was too much. If only love was just tranquil, without any of the pain attached that hurts your broken heart to its core.

themoonmustset made new wave rap wavier in his latest release, Make It Home

From 80s goth to new wave rap, few sounds evade the fusionist style of the up and coming Dallas, TX-native, themoonmustset. His latest single, Make It Home, is a trippy-to-the-point-of-being-ethereal release that uses glitchy distorted beats under his urgent and visceral rap bars.

I’m fairly sure you would have heard the phrase “it’s a vibe” before; this track becomes the epitome of it with its spacey, wavey progressions and the full-frontal human element pouring into the mix through the tuned and effect-laden vocals.

The 22-year-old artist produces, records, mixes and masters every release put out under his name. We can only hope that there are more locked, loaded and ready to drop releases from themoonmustset.

Make It Home is now available to stream on Spotify.

NBH Rucci searches for gravity in his latest single, Hold Me Down

In his latest single, “Hold Me Down”, the up and coming alt hip hop artist NBH Rucci explores the disparities between fears of being held down and lonely realities where connections feel transitional and leave us feeling short-changed.

The atmospheric dark indie hip hop single is an extension of the Michigan-hailing hip hop artist’s mission to share his triggering life events as a means of connecting with his fans and shining a light on the commonality of our pain. With trap and RnB nuances weaved into the short and sweet track that runs through in under 2-minutes, there is no denying that it hits the evocative spot and does it in a spectacularly succinct fashion.

West Philly rap artist Jus NBL hits all the right notes in his album ‘Fine Wine’

West Philly rap artist, Jus NBL, dropped one of the freshest hip hop albums of 2021 with the release of his lyrically driven LP, Fine Wine. In the title track, the minimalist beats create the perfect platform for his high-energy rap bars as they grind through the gritty lyrics and the resilience that allowed him to find the light regardless.

Right from the first verse, Jus NBL proves how grounded he is in his lyricism. There’s none of the usual ego-fuelled grandeur, just an honest and direct lyrical delivery that is more than easy to connect with. The Jay Z reminiscences are strong, but they do little to dampen the intoxicating hit of Jus NBL’s authenticity in Fine Wine. Every rap fan should have room for him on his radar.

Jus NBL’s 2021 album, Fine Wine, is now available to purchase on apple music.

C.h.a.m.p brought the high vibes in his dynamic rap bars with ‘Baby Dedo’, featuring Eta Phi Nupes.

This summer, the up and coming American rap artist, C.h.a.m.p, went viral shortly after the release of his single, Baby Dedo, featuring Eta Phi Nupes. The jazzy, trappy, high-vibe track melds the old school with the new wave of hip hop and comes alive through the passion that the dynamically talented artist poured into the mix.

After a near-death experience when a bullet pierced his skull in 2019, C.h.a.m.p (Change Happens at My Pace) found purpose in music. It might sound corny to call it his calling but given his ability to mould clever wordplay into unique rhyme schemes and that he’s only just getting started, his rap career holds plenty of promise and commercial potential. If you could imagine what it would sound like if Busta Rhymes took on Snoop Dogg’s attitude, you’ll get an idea of the magnetism in Baby Dedo.

The official music video for Baby Dedo is available to stream on YouTube. Or the high fire single can find its way onto your playlists via Spotify.

Invigorated by the likes of Yung Lean, 6 Dogs and Lil Peep, Fourstars points us into the fires of rage as he wonders why he even showed interest in someone heartless who clearly didn’t possess the same romantic feelings on ‘Hell On Earth‘.

Fourstars is a South East, UK-based indie emo trap solo artist who makes a new school blend of story-filled music about life, love, and making it in this competition-riddled world.

Other than producing beats, I do all of my own music production, and hope to learn beat-making eventually (so I can make fully independent songs).” ~ Ajarr

Keeping that valuable mind sane, is the only way to survive the apocalypse.

Independent Rhode Island alt hip hop artist, Rayquonthedon has followed on from his debut EP with his enigmatic debut album, TRAP LULLABIES. Usually, it is all too easy to draw parallels between hip hop artists, but Rayquonthedon’s sonic boldness leaves few reminiscences in his sound that draws inspiration from dance hits, old school hip hop and new wave trap.

None of the accessibility was lost in his fiery Avant standout single, VELVETTA (I KNOW FREESTYLE).
