Vowing to be great and to show others that anything is actually possible if you have that fire burning bright when others are napping, Srujanika knows exactly why she does this and opens up her bedroom studio door with her latest aesthetic edit called ‘For You‘.

Srujanika is a Kolkata, India-based indie singer-songwriter who currently studying towards a Health Arts & Science degree while also following her music dreams.

Leading us into current times while she waits for her next project to be mastered, Srujanika sings with such emotion and has dropped a reminder of what she is capable of. With serene class and a vocal depth that is such a wonderful listen, this is a raw track that has a genuine message to uplift yourself with if you have been overly stressed lately.

‘For You‘ from Kolkata, India-based indie solo singer-songwriter Srujanika is a really lovely single from an authentic artist who does this to make others happy. Her lyrics guide us deep inside her life and show us why she is loved throughout the world, as a musician who always keeps it real and relatable. Filled with honesty and packed with her likeable vocals, this is a dynamic single with plenty to remember.

Srujanika shines a light on the darkest nights with her indie single, ‘Rise’.

For her latest single, ‘Rise’, which has now been accompanied by a music video shot by Guillaume, up and coming singer-songwriter Srujanika teamed up with producer MILIAH to orchestrate an intricate, intimate feat of indie-pop that doesn’t just lyrically scratch at the surface. It cuts right down to the marrow.

Sometimes, all that is needed is the reminder that no matter how alone you feel on the darkest nights, you’re not alone in your dark transition periods before the light starts to breakthrough. The deeply spiritual release pulls in nuances of shoegaze and dream pop to give the single a sense of fragility; through Srujanika’s vocals, you’ll find comfort along with the inspiration to find the same resilient strength.

Even if you listened to the radio all day, you wouldn’t hear a more compassionate and consoling voice.

Alt RnB Pop artist Srujanika has made her debut with ‘Rags to Riches’

Tokyo-based singer-songwriter Srujanika has made her 2020 debut with the Alt R n’ B Pop single ‘Rags to Riches’ which squirms free from the constraints of archetypal R n’ B and runs through in a truly authentic style.

The self-proclaimed Queen of Darkness poured plenty of moody alchemy into the track which was penned to revere anyone who has succeeded in the quest for success, despite adversity. In a society where the rich, powerful and famous are mindlessly applauded, Srujanika offers a nuanced view that success lies in the journey.

Her unapologetically bold style may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but Rags to Riches poured straight out of the soul to suit acquired tastes and people who don’t mind raw and direct intimacy in their tracks.

Rags to Riches which was released on December 15th is now available to stream and download via Bandcamp.
