Treva and the Mojos release relevantly single “In the Ditch”

With Italian roots and currently in majestic Melbourne, Australia. You will want to turn up Treva and the Mojos real loud. The distorted sound at the beginning reminds me of a Radiohead song and then the vocals hit right in the stomach.

The band created this indie pop track back in 2012 and released it only now to inspire as it felt relevant and real during these times of COVD-19.

This is a band forging their own path and doing it their way. “In the Ditch” is all about getting ourselves out of that ditch and struggling to make it happen due to all the ugliness out there. I’m so inspired by this track as it’s so real. Millions have hidden away and might never emerge again as they are too scared to come out. It’s so important not to lose your mind right now and stay strong for whoever you care about in the world. Keeping your eyes open and looking to the stars for inspiration is the only way to survive and for our souls to be saved. This is a band with a massive future and their realness is for all to see and their music so stunningly crafted with love.

Goodfellow fires in with striking teaser single ”Illusion”

Feeling lied to and having the impression that you don’t have any real friends left must a sad and reflective feeling. You had hope and then it got snatched away. This certain realization of a falling heart hurts like piece of glass stuck in your foot. There is pain but you can take it out and heal the wounds. Goodfellow is a new artist on the scene with a vibrant style and he flows in with this fantastic single of substance.

With an overriding feeling of paranoia we are introduced to an artist with a telling tale to show us. ”Illusion” has a powerful beat and the start is quite magnificently created. I feel like there is smoke everywhere and the artist is slowly floating down. He is ready for this song to explode into action and so are we. Dealing with past relationships that didn’t work out is flashed before our eyes. Words are pointless now with no actions. You can try for only so long. I like this track from Goodfellow and only wish it was a bit longer. I guess that is the point. This was a teaser track, showing us to the window of where this artist can be. More music is welcome when an artist is a quality storyteller and the content is of value.

Seattle-based Audri is here with splendidly arranged ”Automatic”

Sometimes the feeling is just absolutely laser focused and automatic. You just know when you are attracted to someone and the spark can consume you. The first time I listened to this song I just knew I liked Audri. A lot. Her voice is smokey clear and with intoxicating power.

This is indie-pop with plenty of punch and perfectly percolated with methodical precision. Taken off the new EP titled Aud, put your hands together as one and turn Audri’s music up loud.

With a way of grabbing you by the soul but not in a pushy manner, Seattle native Audri dazzles with her new single. ”Automatic” is all about the first time your eyes meet with someone and the sparks fly off the earth like a furious welder. Her voice is so incredible and she brings us into the story expertly from a distance. There is no coincidence about this talent, she is here with a bang and we need to take note. I feel free while listening to Audri. The production is fantastic and blends in perfectly with her style and for the song’s purpose. We have just witnessed a breakthrough of a massive scale. Mike Ruggi is ”Runnin” all the way to the top with debut single

This is the first single off of Mike Ruggi’s debut album ‘Movement‘. I feel like we are witnessing an underdog rise from the ashes, a soul that is so hungry he is going to eat real big.

He is running all the way up and not doing this for anyone else by himself. Sometimes you just have to try that 3 point shot and see what happens. The flow is so rugged and raw. This emcee is breaking down the door to get onto the mic and you can hear the passion.

Newcomer Mike Ruggi steps into the Hip Hop game with a massive chip on his shoulder. He doesn’t lack confidence and has been planning this for a while. ”Runnin” is all about proving to himself that he is worthy to lace the mic with world class skills. His dream was put on hold and we are thrown into his story with haunting beats, a sound that echoes in your ears as you feel his frustration with the process. With a debut like this it feels like Mike Ruggi will be stomping down the streets with more gritty music very soon.

”Save Me” from Dane Blake (feat. Marcello) is a call for forgiveness

There comes a time when sometimes you reach the point of no return. Your soul is hurt and you have just had enough. Too many nights spent at the club or local bar can take it’s toll. We all need to refresh before it all escalates.

This is a roller coaster of a song and it’s well executed by this singer-songwriter from the USA who has just put out a call for help. Can he forgive himself and move on?

Questioning all of his beliefs, the determined talent that is Dane Blake takes us into his tortured mind with ”Save Me”. He is desperately losing control and really needs help as his soul is burning. A man who sings to us about losing his way, a moment that none of us want to deal with but fear that we unfortunately will. Dane roars his way through the song and the the beat is slow and steady, building all the time as to let us know that this is going to be a passionate track. Thus it is. I feel like swaying by body around and my mood is reflective and thinking of the past, with mostly regret. Towards the end of the song I do feel hope and I guess that is what life is. Lots of ups and lots of downs.
