Wavesy and Recet rip through on the electro-rap track ‘Reflections‘, this is one of the best tracks of 2020 without any shadow of a doubt.

Wavesy is a personified dream that Cameron Poe created to help convey the old school rock and roll sound with a modern, darker R&B/rap sound that floats through the speaks like a bubble in the wind. This is a quality artist with lots to offer.

Recet is an acclaimed vocalist, drummer, composer, and producer from the thriving Denver music scene. He is a massive name to watch and this song showcases the great work that him and his music partner have made.

You reflect at what you have done in your life. You want to be different and to be yourself. Following your dreams and being yourself is so important to you. This is the core of your beliefs and you will carry on until you have achieved your goals. This is what really matters, not by how cool you are or how many fake friends you kinda know. This is the grown up world that you like to live in.

Wavesy and Recet are on savage form here and this rips a massive hole through the shame that has been 2020. ‘Reflections‘ is one of those songs you can’t stop listening to, the energy is electric and this is a proper song to chew on.

The Ugly Kings offer us a gritty blues journey on ‘Last Night Stand Of Sins Deluxe‘ and this is a top new track that has that real edge to it.

Sunny Melbourne in Australia is the home of the fantastic 4 piece band and they are a energy and emotional roller coaster ride. They hit all the heights and are such a terrific listen. There are such dazzling bass lines here that make this is a song to jam to. This is best experienced with the crew in the house, rocking out to the epic new tune.

This is all about being in your town for the last time, this time. You want to get out of there and meet a special friend for that last night. Or is it? You might return but for now you are here and making the best of the moment.

Australia’s The Ugly Kings bring us a marvelous track called ‘Last Night Stand Of Sins Deluxe‘. With a pure power blues feel, you get the injection of glorious music in your body the whole way through. This is an absolute winner and one of the best blues tracks of 2020.

NYC act Not from Concentrate showcase their growing talent with ska flavored ‘If You’re Wrong’

After over a decade as a band, NYC outfit Not From Concentrate are back with one of their best songs yet on ‘If You’re Wrong‘.

They began as a college ska band in New York City. and over the years, the groups sound and personnel changed, as nature happens. Sticking together, the sound is more alt-rock but of course has that Ska core to the bones of the soul.

After touring the East Coast extensively, the group are looking to add to shows like with the legend King Django. With a respected name, this is a band that is looking to play on awesome stages, with artists they respect.

New York City band Not From Concentrate impress on their latest single ‘If You’re Wrong‘. This is a self-aware track that sets the tone, the vocals are gritty and real, the bands sound grows on you as the song keeps you rocking throughout. With so many stylish and different influences, you get the feeling that this is a band that are truly at one with themselves, and their instruments.

D-Anna sets the bar high with the elegantly sassy indie pop single ‘Not Today’

The young Russian D-Anna, a singer-songwriter  who now made the move to Boston to study at at Berklee College of Music brings us a lovely single in ‘Not Today‘, and this young singer shows us her incredible vocal ability in her debut single.

With a sultry voice that flies free like a beautiful butterfly, this is a statement single. A call to say that she is not messing around now, no one is going to hold her down and damage her soul inside. With a pure indie pop with some house elements that drift in nicely like a water-park slide on a Saturday afternoon.

This is a song that makes you think, you smile and admire this artist for her elegant style. You get the feeling that she is finding her voice and is on the way to expressing her message to the world. She has a voice that keeps you lock in and you feel like you have found your new favourite artist.

Wisconsin musician Evan Lane drop spectacular ‘Gravity of You’

Evan Lane is a proudly Milwaukee-based music teacher, former barista and artist who is back with the new single called ‘Gravity of You‘, this is a terrific track with flavor.

This multi-talented vocalist, violist, pop pianist and musician is quite soothing on the latest single as we are treated to a song that captures your attention right away. Taken off full 7 track album ‘Etude‘, this is a full time music lover who has so much passion for music. The love on this song is so clear to see and this indie pop journey builds up during the track.

You are drawn so much to your crush, they give you peace within when you think of them. You are drawn to them so much and want things to be happy and love-filled, not alone like 2020.

‘Gravity of You‘ from Evan Lane is an ode to that classic music. This is authentic and takes you to a different place. You feel peaceful and free, enjoying the feeling inside of this indie special.

Kontrol Freaks drop the energetically excellent ‘Rock N Roll Fire‘ and this is a fine effort from the UK outfit.

This is a hard rocking 4 piece band from North London, Kontrol Freaks and they have an upbeat style that has lots of heart and respects the legends of past hard rock acts. They like to fuse the old school spirit and mix it nicely with some modern elements. This is an act that pushes the limits and you just need to turn this up real loud to fully appreciate this.

‘Rock N Roll Fire‘ from Kontrol Freaks is a powerfully performed new rock waterfall that simmers through the waters of our souls. The vocals are strong and so impressive, the band is totally in-sync here and the tone is intense. The layers are wrapped with a desire to get that fire back from the slumber and misery of 2020. This proudly North London band have a sound that gets your attention right away. This is a quality act who certainly have that extra it-factor and must be incredible on stage.

Australia’s Nick Chilli Haze leads the way with new single ‘City Lights‘ and this is a superb effort.

The small town Australian kid moved to Hollywood to chase his dreams. This is the story here, the life was set and everything was going so well, playing at all the venues and really going for it. The lights were bright and the dream was alive. So many memories and love, some tough times too but you two made it work. Then, tragedy stuck and the story was flipped over upside down.

After losing his musical soul mate and best friend, Australia’s Nick Chilli was in turmoil. However with the strength inside and his memory so clear to see to do what they plan was no matter what, this is a sad story but one of strength. This is a lovely song, filled with heart and gratitude. This is what music should really be about, just making music that matters. Anything fake is no where to be seen. This is the soul and life of what it is all about.

October Brigade ft Liel Bar-Z brings our new indie-pop spellbinder ‘No Tears for Tomorrow‘ and this is a quality listen for our souls.

With prolific Liel Bar-Z from Los Angeles on vocals, October Brigade are a well-respected Music Production & Songwriting Team featuring vocalists from around the world. They have made a great decision in having Liel on vocals as with their signature sound, this is a great listen from start until finish.

‘No Tears for Tomorrow‘ is about the sad times that have befallen us and how youngsters have to grow up so fast these days. Hopefully the world can be set free again so that all of us can be outside again, feeling free and not avoiding humans. This is a call out to find others that feel the same and can create happy vibes without judgement.

October Brigade and Liel Bar-Z combine like a perfectly cooked dinner and the steamy warm feeling is heard throughout. This is a song to play on the weekend when you are feeling reflective and the quality is effortless. All-round a fine single release in 2020.

Happy sounds are in abundance with Ito and the Moonlight Hippies on their infinite galaxy-reaching ‘Shooting Star‘ and this is a humble song made with love and new-found consciousness. This is one of the best indie tracks of 2020 with a melody that will keep you smiling for hours.

This has an earthy free buzzing bee type of feel and a journey to find yourself. Being with friends who truly get you and will be there no matter what. Keeping things simple and looking for that special vibe always.

Ito and the Moonlight Hippies are quite fantastic on ‘Shooting Star‘ and this is a self-aware song that is also dripped in looking at the stars, finding good vibes throughout the galaxy. This is the type of music that reminds me of Jeremy Loops from South Africa and the quality shines like a bright star on this inspiring new single. This is that campfire burnin’ story that is best with joined hands, cooking food on the fire and enjoying life as one. Peace and love do exist thanks to music like this.

Mika Mamon is a UK-based singer-songwriter, originally from the Philippines. She is now based in Saltburn on the North Yorkshire Coast. She is quite simply effortless on ‘Holiday Romance‘ and this is a lovely new single about sweet love.

Mika is a nurse, singer-songwriter and she loves people, music and good vibes. A signed artist from Slider Records, she is fully focused on making music that is positive for the soul. No fake music is allowed and this is music from the heart. You might be a bit worried about what this is all going to do but things happen for the best.

With succulent vocals, Mika has the ability to put you in a better place than before. ‘Holiday Romance‘ from Mika Mamon is a fine effort, this is the type of music that makes you smile. You lay back and wonder of better times in the world. This is that romance kind of song that keeps you lifted and in good spirits.
