Lost in Wescott’s Music

I recently came across two versions of the song “Lost” by the talented musician and award-winning songwriter, Matt Wescott. One was a studio version, and the other was a live performance at White Noise Studios. And if given the option, I will always choose a live performance.

The song itself is a toe-tapping blues-country riff-driven ballad, and Wescott’s voice is a pleasing gentle baritone that adds a layer of emotion to the lyrics. The song’s melody is catchy and will have you humming along in no time.

It’s not surprising to learn that Wescott has worked with some big names in the music industry, including Portishead, Alabama 3, Razorlight, Dodgy, Newton Faulkner & Fionn Regan. And he has played some of the best venues in Bristol, Bath, London, and beyond.

But it’s not just his impressive resume that sets him apart. Wescott’s latest EP, “Echoes Around The Sun,” released in 2023, showcases his incredible talent as a songwriter and musician. And the lead single, “Lost,” co-written with Aimee Proal, is an excellent representation of the EP’s quality.

Brad Sanders is a Sacramento, California-based indie rock drummer and songwriter who is the kind of multi-instrumentalist dreams are made of.

Taken off the 14-track album called Hats, Brad Sanders spellbinds our emotions on this 80’s fused stunner to take us into a happier place. This is an excellent instrumental song which will ease the worries of so many who just want to forget tour carnage-filled current days.

The Victorious Mr Bitey Face from Sacramento, California-based rock drummer and songwriter Brad Sanders is a tremendous single to get eager about. Lacerating through the skin and panting with a happy face, this is a wonderful song to place on loud when life gets a little too much.

Oli Ng is a Crewe, Cheshire-based indie rock singer-songwriter who has a gloriously compelling vocal ability which is matched by refreshingly honest lyrics to marvel at.

Taken off the 10-track debut album Everything Is Impossible Until It Happens, Oli Ng has brought a ray of hope for those who have grown so anxious inside a home that feels rather creepy right now. Delivering for the people and showing us this quality experience, this is a stunning track to admire for its true frankness.

Haunted House from the Crewe, Cheshire, UK-based indie rock singer-songwriter is one of those songs which is surely impossible to dislike. This is a massively unforgettable song to sweep us off our feet, and into a better room which is away from those strange noises which refused to quieten.

Brice Robell is a Seattle, Washington-based indie RnB/soul artist who loves to swim upstream when others choose to stand still or follow the normal path.

Blessing our senses awake with an insightful interview recently which you may read here, Brice Robell is in peak form and has constructed something hugely imaginative. There is a story for the ages on offer which certainly will relate to millions.
