Where Did You Go: North Norfolk country artist Ervin yearns for her return on Carolynn

Known throughout his local area for hosting the legendary open mic called Rock the Lobster, Ervin shows the value in working with producer Aeron Z Jones with a riveting display on Carolynn.

Ervin aka Ervin Munir is a North Norfolk-based indie country singer-songwriter and a member of the band Cutting the Mustard.

”He writes heartfelt songs about life and social injustice with an eye for the ridiculous. His influences are Paul Simon, James Taylor and the Eagles and one of his early highlights has been performing “The Boxer” at a folk group hosted by Peggy Seeger.” ~ Ervin

Performed with a dynamic exuberance and an endearing romance, Ervin sings with the kind of quality which is rather rare in this overly-rushed world. Lathered in so much excellence, it’s hard not to like this outstanding effort.

Carolynn from North Norfolk-based indie country singer-songwriter Ervin is a rather sweet single about wishing for a return from the sweetest girl in the world. Sung with kind tenderness and comforting energy, this is a single to take us into a happier state of mind despite the distance between two loving hearts.

You’ll Be Leaving Him: Minneapolis folk artist shugE drops live version for Concrete and Steel

After a decade away from the music game shugE resurfaces and goodness, it was certainly worth the wait on the super single to gain knowledge from inside the eye-opening track, Concrete and Steel.

shugE is a Minneapolis, USA-based indie folk singer-songwriter who is one of those underappreciated musicians who is truly respected on the underground circuit.

”In 2013 shugE went on hiatus to fight a long, drawn out child custody battle & was triumphantly able to return to performing in 2022.” ~ shugE

Rather angry as he wrote the lyrics, shugE shows us the harsh realities where cities are built to be seemingly unhospitable and hard to navigate. Questioning the reality of our current land, this is the story of wondering where a true home really is.

Concrete and Steel from Minneapolis, USA-based indie folk singer-songwriter shugE is a rather real song for so many to ponder on deeply. In a rush-rush world, we find a quality song taken off the upcoming EP I’ll be in love with you until the day I die, which is due out on 13th April.

If this is a sign of things to come, our tired souls will surely reinvigorate.

Hoping for more time to cross the river and save this drowning romance, Camila Knight displays so much strength on the loving anthem to drift all doubts away with no need to say goodbye.

Camila Knight is an eclectic alt-pop singer-songwriter who performs with so much grace and desire on each one of her stunning soundtracks.

”I wrote this song in mid-August 2022 building it up on an initial idea that I had for a chorus melody. I composed it on my old piano in my cosy basement studio adding in the melody for the verses and lyrics. After some alone time and roughly two songwriting sessions, the song was ready. As soon as I finished it I played it acoustically on Twitch and then started rehearsing it with my band. Recorded a demo in my home studio and then at the beginning of October 2022 we went to the recording studio to record drums (Jorge Gándara). Afterwards, I worked on the production and mixing/mastering remotely across the continents. The song was produced by the wonderful Isaiah Jose and was mixed/mastered by the amazing Mike Dwyer that collaborated with such great artists as Shawn Mendes, Jade Bird, Vance Joy and The Lumineers.” ~ Camila Knight

After purring our trepidations away like a caring angel on Brave from December 2021, Camila Knight soars from the pain and aviates towards the happy place she feels ready for. Showing us why her music has been so heavily streamed all over the globe, we find a truly soul-healing artist to believe in.
