Natalie Duque has released her gracefully minimalist ballad, Silence Hurts More.

With guitars that will make Slowdive fans swoon combined with tender keys and Natalie Duque’s arresting, almost angelic vocals, Silence Hurts More is everything that a contemporary ballad should be.

Silence Hurts More is just one of the singles found on her latest soul-baring 2-track release, Gemini, that carries the candid nature of Adele’s most emotionally exposing singles and a gracefully minimalist instrumental style which gives the poetically introspective lyricism more room to breathe in the soundscape.

The level of talent in the release easily matches the authenticity. We are incredibly grateful to have found Natalie Duque at this blossoming stage of her career. It is going to be incredibly satisfying watching such an accolade-worthy artist ascend.

Released off Hertha Records, Georgia Duncan shows extreme quality beyond what your racing mind can fathom with ‘Golden Ribbons‘, which is taken off her stunning just-dropped four-track EP called ‘The Light‘.

Georgia Duncan is a supremely elegant, highly conscious indie-folk South London-born singer-songwriter and music workshop facilitator. She makes that peaceful music that is all about how the world needs to be way better, as we blindly go from one war to another, whilst unwittingly adding fuel to the fire as we go.

You feel her calming presence right by your side as she sings like someone you would want to have a proper conversation with about current affairs- as she possesses a style that has you hooked instantly – each word has been carefully crafted and made with a timeless appeal for the ages. The intimate soundtrack here has been so well put together and this feels like you are stuck in time, thinking so deeply about what we can do better to live in much-needed peace.

Golden Ribbons‘ from the focused South London-born indie folk singer-songwriter Georgia Duncan, shows us a wonderfully self-aware and talented woman who knows that her music is beyond what she thought it would be. Her voice is marvelously in tune and she makes meaningful strides to show that art can actually make a difference, with what is going on around the world and what has to change. This is something really special that gives you welcome shivers of excitement.

No Games: Brooklyn’s Jah Nino isn’t looking for love on ‘Missing Me’

As he remembers her sweet kisses all over his lips as they drew closer together, Jah Nino tries to explain that he doesn’t want to settle down right now as he looks to stack that paper only on ‘Missing Me‘.

Jah Nino is a fiery Brooklyn, New York City-based trap rapper, singer-songwriter of Jamaican descent. He formulates that quick-fire music that is meant to be played loud in the car while cruising with the crew, or on full volume at the local club.

His bars slam hard onto the catchy beat that shows us into the story into the steamy bedroom – where things were hot and spicy – but not designed to last forever either. He swirls onto the mic and keeps things short and to the point, as he lets us know that she isn’t going to get a reply.

Missing Me‘ from the honest Brooklyn singer/trap rapper Jah Nino, shows us a man who isn’t keen to slow down and be with just one person. He is rather after that huge bank account so he can retire comfortable and feels like this is his time to shine. He knows that she is missing him – but showing his feelings isn’t something that he wants – or has time to do.

You feel his dreamy-cool vocals simmer through like a smokey chimney, his kind mind is ready and just needs that final push to do whatever he wishes. His tremendous tone is backed organically by a breathless beat and calm piano, as he tackles his demons down like a perfect Paolo Maldini tackle to win in injury time. With some smartly edged raps too, this is so good to listen to, as you will want a second listen.

Yet/Still‘ from the soulfully joyful Italian indie RnB singer Luca, is his reflection on the struggle of aiming for the stars up above – but yet standing still for now at the same time – as he carefully works out how to achieve his greatest desires, You feel like he knows where the slippery key is, and just needs to search a bit more so that he may be free where it matters most. His beating heart awaits this moment of pulsating excitement, when he reaches that destination. This is just the beginning.

She sings about once knowing where her life was going – however the world changed so quickly – as she grits her teeth to pull herself out of the slump, and into something pure and rather special.
