Alyssa Keen & Nickay – thanks but no thanks: emboldening ‘over you’ indie pop

For her latest single, singer-songwriter Alyssa Keen teamed up with Nickay to create the ultimate emboldening ‘over you’ track “thanks but no thanks”

Alyssa Keen’s natural, elysian and airy vocals make it all too easy to succumb to the soul in the romantically scorned track that reminds the listener how sweet it is to take back emotional power over yourself.

Around the easy acoustic guitar chords are stunning nuances of shoegazey indie and elements of style that fans of Kurt Wilde will instantly want to melt into. The single is so much more than your average bitter and coming age of single. Alyssa Keen’s motivation to pull optimistic perspectives out of the bad to enlighten the world is enough to restore your faith in humanity.

thanks but no thanks is now available to stream on Spotify.

Get Me Outta Here: NYC’s Ceb pretends that the ex doesn’t exist on ‘Makes Sense’

As she appears so crushingly heartbroken but tries to get over a past relationship rather hastily, Ceb puts on that expensive dress and dances until she feels like herself again on ‘Makes Sense‘.

Ceb aka Caroline Baniewicz is a Dallas, Texas-born, New York City-based indie-pop singer-songwriter who makes that honest music about love, life and finding your destined path in this overly-confusing world.

Ceb puts all her emotions into her music so her loved ones will be able to tolerate being around her. She is a bedroom artist, recording music with her keyboard and MacBook Air, despite the noise of NYC outside her window.” ~ Ceb

With her lovable style and sumptuous vocals simmering breathlessly into the window by your bedside, Ceb displays so much maturity in deciding that she is in charge of her own destiny. She sings with a real authentic personality and saturates each note with understandable emotion – to give the world a real sense of where is headed – in this unfortunate quick-swipe and recently-altered time warp that needs to be changed back to that old school romance.

Makes Sense‘ from the Dallas, Texas-born, New York City-based indie-pop singer-songwriter and multi-creative Ceb, is that all-too-familiar story of feeling so low but trying to rise up. After feeling so disappointed, the drinks sink in and you start to feel that you are actually so much better single as that person in the past was obviously completely wrong for you. Moving on despite the empty feeling inside your stomach is the way this courageous woman is headed and rightly so. Life is about being happy after all.

Chenza aka Chenza Puno, is an excellent indie singer-songwriter, vocalist of rock band Room 4 and music duo Restless Balloons. and daughter of the late-great music icon Rico J. Puno, who was a Filipino singer, television host, actor, comedian and politician.

Dropped off from his fire 8-track recently-released debut EP called ‘Broken Record‘, Francois rips his ex to pieces who broke his heart and made him feel like he wasn’t worth the time on ‘Junkie‘.

Francois is a 20-year old Scotchtown, New York-born, Newburgh, New York-based indie emo rapper, gamer and singer-songwriter who started making music when he was 17.

Music was a big part of Francois’s childhood and helped him battle depression and anxiety growing up.” ~ Francois

This track is about desperation, chasing someone, but trying to look cool about it. That you are willing to change yourself to get them, “tell me your type and I’ll be it”. The new track doesn’t necessarily fit into a genre, there’s not much out there like it, Indie bedroom vibes is how I would explain it.” ~ Joe Stan
