Self Love

Ariel transfused spirituality into her amalgam of rap, RnB and pop with her debut single, Self-Love

Ariel

Georgia-born and raised artist, Ariel, is set to soak the airwaves in spirituality, self-actualisation, and style with the release of her debut single, Self-Love, which entwines elements of rap, RnB and pop to create her unique sonic signature.

With the sense of empowerment and soul transfused into the modernist instrumentals in Self-Love, along with the lyrics that prove wealth can only transpire from mindfulness and the only soul that you really need to look in is your own, it’s impossible not to feel emboldened by the time the artfully intricate outro is fading out.

Without tearing down the current rap icons, it’s about time that artists in the same vein as Ariel started to reign supreme in the charts; on the basis of the alluringly awakening creativity and talent exhibited in Self-Love, there’s no reason why she can’t ascend from the underground in no time.

Self-Love will officially release on October 7th. Check it out on Spotify and iTunes via this link.

We Lost The Magic: Really Low looks for the mental fortitude on ‘LYS’

Taken off his debut EP called ‘Bexarly Makin It‘, Really Low leads us into a past relationship that has slowly faded away from what it was on ‘LYS‘.

Really Low is a thoughtful San Antonio, Texas hip-hop artist. He puts together that true life soundtrack that simmers in hot with real scenes, that makes you think so deeply inside your perspective.

You feel his message so far into your mind, as you relate to this story of when you were with someone that needed to find that inner boost themselves. Your relationship was going well but then something came up that left you bitterly disappointed with their actions — as the uncertain inner soul started to shatter the bond — like a fragile glass window being hit suddenly by a brick.

His rhymes are slick and well-constructed — his reflective tone has you listening so carefully — he spreads his flow like a wave in the washy sea, as you nod your head and admire his rap style.

LYS‘ from the emerging San Antonio, Texas hip-hop artist Really Low, is that true story of being with someone that doesn’t love themselves yet for some reason. Eventually the worrying insecurities gets too much and starts to make you nervous too. At the end of the day, they need to learn self-love as you really need this for your hearts to fully mesh together and be one strong team forever.

Can’t be loved, Till I love myself: Javii reminds us to be kind to ourselves on ‘Self Love’

With a peaceful whistle and a gentle sound that has you feeling so tranquil, Javii tells us the message that we all need to hear on ‘Self Love’.

Joel Javier Zorrilla aka Javii, is a brave Miami, Florida-based indie folk/pop singer-songwriter. He is a courageous creative who has endured a tough life and has used music as his escape, from a wind-swept upbringing full of storms and carnage. He chose to float away from the thunder on his guitar lifeboat — and is now free to be his own lifeguard — and swims majestically with a calm mind to help others.

This is the true story filled with heart-stopping moments, as you remind yourself to stop being so harsh when you make silly mistakes. The world can be gloomy and grey at times, as you look to love someone else during your journey of doing the same for yourself.

He has such a calming vocal exterior, that seems to brush away the dust that can fog up your mind. Each guitar strum is made with so much peace and care — as you feel like you are drifting from the bad vibes that are easy to soak into — moving into the road that you really want to be on instead.

Self Love‘ from Miami, Florida’s Javii, opens the creaking door to where you need to be, as the world blusters over your mind sometimes to shake all that noise on you. Having the self-awareness to take some time to mellow out and worry about yourself for a bit is definitely needed. Being positive and kind to yourself in this quick-swipe and compare society, is the only way to stay sane after all.
