Adan Del Rio – Can’t Believe U featuring Netta: Sentiment-Soaked RnB Trap

https://soundcloud.com/adandelrio/cant-believe-u-unmixed

For their latest single “Can’t Believe U” Alt Trap artist Adan Del Rio teamed up with RnB vocalist Netta to create an evocatively deep mix which is full of collaborative chemistry.

Despite the fast pace of Adan Del Rio’s bars, it was all too easy to drink in the passion-soaked poetic lyrics thanks to his clean, clear and convictive diction.

What a needle is to a haystack is usually what melodicism is to Trap music. But in Can’t Believe U, the light and cathartic guitar notes find the perfect balance in the mix against the 808s. It’s everything you could possibly ask for from a contemporary Rap track.

Prepare for the Emotive Sting of Comp Keyz’ Standout Single “Sauce Man”

You’ll have seen Hip Hop artists blow up for FAR less than what you will find in the standout single “Sauce Man” by up and coming artist Comp Keyz.

While I’ve heard my fair share of emotively driven Trap music, I’ve never felt the weight of a Trap single crawl under my ribs in the same way as Sauce Man did. The soundscape may be light downtempo and ambient, but make no mistake, it’s resoundingly heavy.

Whether it was the pensive yet optimistic melody or the husky, humble, captivatingly poised RnB-soaked Rap bars which hit the hardest, I can’t be sure of. But what is painfully evident that Comp Keyz may be one of the most criminally underrated artists we’ve heard in a while.

Smokey Markus Drops the First Track off His Debut Upcoming EP “Cheerios”

If you’re looking for a R&B-infused Trap single with intergalactic vibes, look no further than Smokey Markus’ single Cheerios. The single is the first track to be released from his up-coming EP Lonerz, and if the intro is anything to go by, Hip Hop fans are in for an aural treat of smooth, experimentally layered R&B rhythm. The reverb-heavy synth notes rest against the Trap beat which eventually rolls in as the backbone of the slow and tentative mix. It may be a little slow to start, yet, once Cheerios has faded to a close, you’re left more than eager to get a full taste of his inventive, futuristic approach to the genre.

Austin Riddle – Runaway: Meet Your New R&B Trap Earworm

Whilst there are a fair few tracks sharing the same title “Runaway”, Austin Riddle made sure that with his latest single he cooked up a pioneeringly fresh smorgasbord of sound. There’s no denying the up and coming artist’s soundscapes are of massively commercial appeal, so it would be of little surprise if Austin Riddle’s third single became a prominent fixture on radio DJS playlists.

Fans of R&B, Rap, Hip Hop and Jazz alike won’t fail to become enamoured under the smooth, seamless beats. Whilst the lush synth notes take care of the melody, the thudding basslines ensures that Runaway is more than just your average offering of wistful longing. The Funk and grooves take Austin Riddle’s sound to the next level, now it’s just a question of where his sound will take him.
