Trippy chamber pop, indie-folk and electropop coalesce in Tom Bailey’s latest single, ‘Out of Time, made in collaboration with Diviners and BUNT.

Out of Time is a consistently enthralling progressive single that kicks off as an accordant feat of acoustic pop before sonic crescendos gear the single in the direction of danceable anthemic pop. The track perfectly captures the nature of time, how we start at a meandering pace and find ourselves desperate to do our best before a window of time closes. During lockdown, it may feel like we need to endure an endless succession of indistinguishable days, but Out of Time allows you to appreciate just how precious time is. It comes as no surprise that Tom has achieved over 62 million streams on Spotify, to date.

Treyeful x Esther Rowena Louise – A Different Her

Pop producer Treyeful has followed on from the success of his 2020 EP, ‘Neon Green’,  by collaborating with vocalist Esther Rowena Louise, whose vocals breathed plenty of multifaceted soul into the production.

It’s the aural equivalent to a page-turner as the progressive track evolves through the ebbs, flows, crescendos and breakdowns, steadily increasing the adrenaline. When the track hits its energetic peak, you’ll remember the haunting echo of Esther Rowena Louise’s melancholic harmonies from the intro while simultaneously being arrested by her ability to command such resilient ferocity through her dynamic vocal range..

Outside of soundscapes, it may take longer than 5:46-minutes to weather storms and come out on the other side, but it’s a stunning reminder that the clouds have to move eventually, and when they do, everything will be brighter. A Different Heart may sting for anyone with raw romantic wounds initially, but by the outro, you might find that the entrancing dance-pop track has put yours back together – or at least implanted a little bit of optimism.

Gabe Angelo x Neguine Niktash deliver exactly what we need with ‘A Miracle’

If you’re always in search of the aurally miraculous, that is exactly what you will find in the latest high-vibe hit from producer Gabe Angelo featuring vocals from US singer-songwriter Neguine Niktash.

Neguine Niktash’s soulfully sonorous vocals have seen her influenced by artists such as Ashe, SHAED and Maggie Rogers and it is all too easy to see why such a wide-ranging array of artists shine through in this track. There’s more than just power and pitch-perfect harmony behind her connectable vocal timbre, there’s soul, sincerity and an overwhelming amount of compassion.

As it feels like a miracle is exactly what is needed to pull us out of our contemporary sufferance thanks to a crumbling socio-political climate and Covid-19, it’s hard to see A Miracle as anything less than a playlist essential for Future Pop fans.

Rebecca Downes has released her artfully enticing aural storm “Mama Weer All Crazee Now”

I love nothing more than when artists tear the stigma from insanity. Naturally, I’m infatuated with Alt artist Rebecca Downes’ fiercely unapologetic latest single “Mama Weer All Crazee Now”.

The artfully atmospheric release is enticing from the first striking note. To start, there’s tender turbulence behind her plaintively evocative vocals which steadily runs through her wisdom-spilling lyricism. As the track progresses, the intensity builds, and any true audiophiles are sure to have a few jaw-drop moments.

It would be no stretch to say that Mama Weer All Crazee Now is the most stylistically entrancing single we have heard in 2020. From now on, if Rebecca Downes is pouring her introspective into any soundscape, I want to hear it. I want to drink in the intoxicating cocktail of aural ingenuity and sheer passionate determination to deliver a track drenched in sincerity and perception-shifting wordplay.

Robin Novaku has released the most evocative Future Pop single of Summer 2020 with “Hold On”

It’s safe to say that EDM Pop producer, songwriter and composer Robin Novaku’s latest single “Hold On” featuring Jonas Wak is the most evocative Pop single of summer 2020.

Their instantly immersive, blissfully light soundscape carries an Indie vibe to amplify the accessibility of the Future Pop beat which is perfectly complemented by magnetically warm vocals. Neither the vocals nor the lyrics hold back on spilling plenty of amorously romantic appeal.

The hype around Robin Novaku’s sound is more than easy to understand with their effortlessly feel-good, organically resonant mixes. If you like to have your finger on the pulse of up and coming talent, you’ll want the Albanian artist on your playlists. There isn’t a vibe check on earth he couldn’t pass.

Brighton-based experimental artist 8udDha bl0od has a tendency to leave us transfixed by their constantly evolving sound. With their upcoming release “SUm 0f the !x|xi gl17ch35 & 7h3 x!i 73ll7A!L 51gn5 0f 5p3c7R3 SARk0pH.:.rgU5” they’ve left us emotionally stung and aurally enamoured once more.

In their usual style, 8udDha bl0od ensured that the track carried an arsenal of curveballs which will throw you from the accordance you have settled into.

As the track kicks off, there’s something incredibly piercing about the artful tone and tempo despite the light textures and transcendent air which breathes around the slightly psychedelic progressions in the ethereally resolving soundscape.

Halfway through the 7-minute track, SUm 0f the !x|xi gl17ch35 & 7h3 x!i 73ll7A!L 51gn5 0f 5p3c7R3 SARk0pH.:.rgU5 takes an unexpected turn and veers in the direction of Lo-Fi Brit Pop which any fans of Blur will appreciate. But the evolutions in 8udDha bl0od’s track doesn’t end there. To fade out, 8udDha bl0od uses a haunting cinematic neo-noir outro which dissipates into the sound of rolling waves.

We needed no more proof that 8udDha bl0od was one of the most talented underground artists around in 2020, but with their latest single, he delivered yet another undeniable affirmation of his pioneeringly astounding talent.

HARAKAT MUSIC – Don’t Want It to End: An Entrancingly Tropic Summer Dance Hit

This summer may not be as exciting as usual for many people. But still being able to appreciate fresh new EDM summer hits such as HARAKAT MUSIC’s single Don’t Want It to End is a massive consolation.

The Swedish artist and DJ infused much needed feel-good vibes in the entrancingly tropic mix which fans of Future Pop and Progressive House alike are sure to appreciate. The beat in Don’t Want It to End finds the perfect tempo to feed you reflective ecstasy and allow your rhythmic pulses to become arrested by the deftly crafted danceable progressions.

Don’t Want it to End is a perfect example of a multipurpose EDM hit. Whether it hits you on a Dancefloor or on your drive home, it’s sure to sweeten your mood.

Naturally, we can’t wait for the next hit of aural euphoria from HARAKAT MUSIC.

8udDha bl0od is one of the most versatile artists we’ve encountered in 2020, with each new release they blow our minds a little more, and their recently released romantically nostalgic single “HAppY 5AD: Pr!nce DjAng0 PURple fA!n of 3<35” was no exception.

HAppY 5AD: Pr!nce DjAng0 PURple fA!n of 3<35 felt like an aural cuddle. Just why the blend of Progressive Synth Pop and 60s Psych was consoling I’m not all too sure, but the consciousness-devouring soundscape is extremely efficacious all the same. I have a feeling that any fans of ELO will definitely want to make HAppY 5AD: Pr!nce DjAng0 PURple fA!n of 3<35 a staple track on their playlists.

HAppY 5AD: Pr!nce DjAng0 PURple fA!n of 3<35 will be available for release along with the rest of the album from May 17th via SoundCloud. In the meantime, you can check out the artists myriad of dynamic releases.

A Soliman – Let You Go: Progressive Alt Future Pop

Let You Go is the second euphorically potent single to be released from up and coming Pop artist A Soliman. If you’re always on the lookout for tracks which emotively hit the hardest, look no further.

The Future Pop mix kicks off by offering your usual steady synth notes. Yet, when Let You Go reaches peak momentum, you get to appreciate the full extent of A Soliman’s ingenuity. The mix of stylistic electronic effect and pensive piano notes may not be a usual aural pairing, but despite the unfamiliarity of the soundscape, none of the accessibility has been compromised.

In short, it’s all too easy to warm to A Soliman – especially with the artist’s distinctive take on vocal harmonies. It’s a radio-ready hit which you’ll definitely want to try at least once.
