RnB Trap Pop meets Grime in London-hailing artist Wavier’s latest sticky-sweet single ‘Goof Ball’

‘Goof Ball’ is the sticky-sweet Hip Hop drop from breaking London-based artist Wavier who definitely wasn’t afraid to wear his heart on his endearing sleeve in this playfully stylistic mix.

With harmonised Rap vocals, complexly intricate EDM beats and hints of grime bringing the perfect amount of grounding grit to the single, Wavier has undoubtedly succeeded when it came to stamping down their signature sound on the airwaves.

Any diehard romantics with an affinity for fresh curve creating Hip Hop will undoubtedly want the artist and label owner (3000 AUDIO) on their radars sooner rather than later.

Māori Alt Hip-Hop artist FABLE serves evocative urban alchemy in their latest single ‘298’

After the release of their 2019 debut single, ‘Beware’, Alt Māori Hip-Hop artist, FABLE, has amassed acclaim amongst critics and fans alike, with their uniquely intimate approach to producing contemporary Hip Hop, all pretence is lost, and nothing but delicate affable soul is delivered.

Their latest release ‘298’ perfectly demonstrates that experimentation and authenticity don’t need to detract from commercial potential, with enough talent and vision, obscurity can be avoided, and new avenues for passion-driven expression can be found.

The New Zealand-hailing artist has topped charts and made plenty of waves in their local circuit but it’s only a matter of time before he starts to be internationally recognised as the pioneer of urban evocative alchemy that he discernibly is.

So Flawless breathes new life into RnB Hip Hop with ‘She Don’t Wanna’ featuring Izzy Locks

So Flawless (AKA Denis Dimitrijevic) has become somewhat of a Hip Hop legend for his contributions to the genre in recent years. The Sydney, Australia artist and producer has worked with the biggest names in the industry, now, he’s set to put his own in lights through hot drops such as “She Don’t Wanna”.

So Flawless teamed up with Izzy Locks to tell that age-old boy-meets-girl tale. But with their fresh sound which finds a way to squeeze new flavour from 808s by pairing the beats with ambient atmospheric tones, you’ve never heard the story unfold quite like this before.

Right from the intro, you’re assured that So Flawless delivers straight from the soul. Their humility-soaked lyrics fall into the perfect flow to make sure that they implant in your mind while the textured instrumentals throw everything from funked-up guitars to hammering Drill beats your way.

Movie Monroe – Goddess Girl: The Sincerest Hip Hop Track You’ll Hear This Year

Trailblazing Hip Hop artist Movie Monroe is on fire 2020, we might be living in a time of unpredictable chaos, but at least we can rely on Movie Monroe to drop a transfixingly mesmeric track with each new release.

Goddess Girl is a smooth, blissful production, infused with warm reverb around the solid rattle of the 808s. The instrumentals offer waves of catharsis while Movie Monroe unapologetically brings a potent hit of Romanticism into the mix. I’m not sure if you drink in the lyrics as the track runs through, or the lyrics drink you in through their absorbing wit and the almost tear-inducing sincerity.

Goddess Girl isn’t just a solid track. It’s a solid track with the ability to get under your skin and test your soul’s capacity for feeling.

Get Ready for LGND Potential’s Latest Single “Lied to Ourselves”

“Lied to Ourselves” is the upcoming single from Pop Trap artist LGND Potential. Even though the track is steeped in melancholy, there’s still a tangibly sweet upbeat vibe behind the beats, making Lied to Ourselves a distinctive aural offering of uplifting catharsis with a resounding urban edge.

The mix behind Lied to Ourselves may be low key and ambient, but the production ensured enough emotive atmospherics were captured within the soundscape to allow the track to resonate as raw and expressive. LGND Potential may have a fair few singles already under his belt, yet, it’s clear to that the up and coming Pop Trap artist’s work that it’s only going to get better.

You’ll have to wait a little longer to hear LGND Potential’s latest single Lied to Ourselves but in the meantime you can head over to Spotify to check out his previously released singles and hear a sneak preview via Facebook.

Woodsen – Silhouette: The Melodic Pop Trap Ballad You Need on Your Playlists

Finally, a Hip Hop-influenced Pop artist who doesn’t need to depend on an excessive amount of reverb on his vocals. Woodsen has proven with his debut track that no amount of digital mastering can substitute raw vocal power. To say that the up and coming London, UK-based recording artist’s talent-driven sound is refreshing almost feels like an understatement. The harmony, range and strength in his vocals captivate you before the first verse to his latest single “Silhouette” runs through.

The melodic piano outro will ensure that Silhouette isn’t a single you’ll forget in a hurry. Yet, leading up to that, you’re treated to a perfectly polished multi-layer Trap beat which accompanies the piano to provide one of the freshest yet simultaneously sonorous mix. On that, you’ve got the weight of the all too resonant lyrics to contend with. Woodsen may have just restored my faith in the contemporary Urban Indie Pop Genre.
