Gold Coast singer Amela hits all the right notes on her ‘DNM’

Australian alt-pop singer-songwriter Amela hits all the right notes on her brand new song called ‘DNM‘.

With a glossy start, the sultry vocals soon flow into place to make beautiful pop music. The production is tight like a tiger and the claws come out when you scratch deep into the song. I feel like this song relates to millions around the world right now. That human touch and real chat energy is so low right now as the world digs itself out of this mess of a year.

The beat is scrumptious here and the vibe is a party starter. The house style with the fantastic glossy vocals adds a wild twist to the alt-pop genre, Amela sings from the heart and the results are so lovely for the soul.

DNM is really about a yearning to talk to someone about all the things on your mind.. to go deep and within. I hope that y’all have someone you can talk to about all the things on your mind.” This is a such a great message and you can tell that this is a genuine musician, one that cares about others.

Amela slides into our heart with the brilliantly constructed ‘DNM‘ and this young Gold Coast artist is swimming nicely through the waves and gets a few barrels here. This is a great song, full of love and heart which is perfect for 2020.

Landlocked are here with the incredibly beautiful ‘Jupiter’

Landlocked are a young 5 piece band and they are here with this stunning song called ‘Jupiter‘.

You would backpack to the moon to see them smile. This is a love song about wanting that person to be with you so bad. Perhaps the timing is not quite right but you are so confident that this will happen. You feel like you two are meant to be together and will do anything you can to make it happen. You are willing to do what you can but will they show you that they want you too?

Taken off ‘Time For Nothing‘ this is the debut song from the young band from Castle Rock in Colorado in the USA. I love the sweet vocals on this and the band are so good together. This is a story of love and this makes my heart happy. I like the indie folk vibes and they simmer through the madness of the world. Landlocked are a fine young band and their vibe is one that we should listen to again and again.

Fenris- ‘The Fire In The Night’

Fenris is here with a new 5 track EP and it’s fiery release is called ‘The Fire In The Night‘.

The result of a long and painful process, ‘The Fire in the Night‘ is the first solo EP to come from singer songwriter Fenris and this is a much-anticipated release. A diverse collection of songs with influences ranging from Indie Folk to 80’s Pop. The five track EP references injustice, sadness, anger and hope.

Lead singles ‘Faces‘ and ‘Echoes‘ were released earlier in 2020, the first of which has already amassed nearly 30,000 streams on Spotify and 140,000 views on The Vibeguide on YouTube. This EP is doing well already due to the quality music.

Music greeted Fenris like an old friend when he decided to return to it at a low point in his personal life. Fenris says to use his music to get to know him better, each song containing a little part of him and his story. I’m so happy that this singer has used music to get himself back to normal.

The Fire in the Night‘ is a fine release, full of introspective music with real stories of how crazy life has been lately. The pop sound is mixed with beautiful piano and dance beats to flow this to the top of our playlists. My personal favorite song is ‘Faces’. I love the undertone here and this song needs to be in a movie.

Fenris from ‘The Fire in the Night‘ is a fine EP full of ups and downs that transfixes our minds.

Florida’s Casandra Lark saunters on with fresh ‘Play It Cool’ Remix

Casandra Lark returns with her fresh style on her new ‘Play It Cool’ Remix that has just dropped into our laps.

The self-made singer-songwriter takes elements from R&B, funk, hip-hop and throws in electronic elements such as synths. This has helped her build a cross-genre audience that enjoy loving “all music genres”. Casandra loves keeping her entire project authentic by being involved in every step of the creative process. From composing the music, writing the lyrics, production to all visual elements, everything is done or overseen closely by her. This is one talented artist that uses her vision and creativity to be fully in control of her artistry.

I love the smooth beat here as it dances elegantly out of the speakers here. The beat just grows and grows on you as it attracts attention due to the deep house flow and electricity.

Casandra Lark’s ‘Play It Cool’ Remix is a succulent treat for our ears during these times of uncertainty in the world. The vocals are stunning and this is a singer that gets her audience. A fine remix that has me in a good mood, I am a new fan of this fine singer who plays things cool as ice.
