Up and Coming Pop Artist Amy Gordon has Made Her Debut with Single “Too Fly to Care”

Norwegian-based Future Pop artist Amy Gordon has recently released her first single “Too Fly to Care” offering a contemporary, seamless, and pitch-perfect Pop hit which unravels with multiple sticky-sweet layers of EDM euphoria.

The intro and verse leading up to the first chorus were slightly too extended, yet this brought a palpable sense of anticipation for the chorus to break and there were definitely no complaints when it did. While the progressive nature of the single amplified the immersivity of Too Fly to Care, the single still felt a touch overstretched. But that’s not to say that Amy Gordon hasn’t made a fair enough impression with her debut single, and we will be excited to see what follows Too Fly to Care.

A&R Factory Present: Hanne Mjøen

2016 marked the beginning of Hanne’s career as an artist and songwriter. Dedicating all her time to doing music, she released her debut single “Perfect Noise”, which shortly after got picked up by Norwegian radio channel NRK P3, where it rotated on their radio show Urørt, who focuses on showcasing emerging talents nationally.

Hanne Mjøen has already headlined local concert venues in Oslo, such as Mono and Dattera til Hagen, as well as supporting Swedish singer León at Parkteatret.

Hanne’s new single U combines a unique and fresh pop-sound, with strong melodies and distinct choruses, in the same style as fellow Scandinavian artists Tove Lo and Aurora, she co-wrote & produced the track and is one to watch this year! Her sound, branding and image are infectious.

A&R Factory Present: Kine Hjeldnes

Kine Hjeldnes is a self taught musician born and raised in a small town in the south of Norway. She began writing songs in 2008 when she randomly fell into a music shop and bought a very cheap and terrible guitar. Although she’s still pretty unfamiliar with scales, chord progressions and pop recipes, she has developed her songwriting from being one chord songs into a more complex universe. ‘Feathers’ tells a story about being a warrior, but not being able to fight. It’s a song about anger, doubt and crushed dreams.
