FÉ saunters in with her vivid story on ‘I Can’t Trust You’ (feat. Jamison Bethea)

is back with a fine new song called ‘I Can’t Trust You‘ (feat. Jamison Bethea).

Felicia aka comes from a very musically inclined family in North Carolina and she creates a vibe no matter what the room or people inside with her energy. North Carolina is where their hearts are big, they love hard and take care of the community.

The song stemmed from an experience where didn’t have peace of mind due to trust issues with the person she was this. It is telling the story of how she knew this but also coming to the realization that she should forgive herself as well. This is a true story that many of us have faced. You know that things should end but you try and hang on, maybe too long. You just want to make it work but things are doomed as trust is the core of all.

I Can’t Trust You‘ (feat. Jamison Bethea) is a fine song and FÉ is here to stay. Her honest lyrics coupled with a resilient style shows that this artist is working hard, perfecting her craft and looking forward.

North Carolina Rapper Avajor rips through with strong single ”Forever”

Most of us want to live forever and make sure that we are comfortable the whole time. Grinding hard is the only way. Being inspired by seeing others work hard is the only to stay at the top and not drop down. The Producer-emcee is from Winston Salem in North Carolina and was formally known as Jay Major. I quite like the new name and Avajor pulls out all the stops here with the heavy beat and straight up lyrics.

Sorry, I Was Distracted’‘ is the name of Avajor’s first album that has just dropped on Spotify and ”Forever” is one of the best songs off it. This has a Rick Ross type feel on it and is a major statement of intent. He wants the big time and is not letting go.

Avajor has done well here with the new single and he is a name to watch in the flooded US Hip Hop market. I’d like to see him work with other local artists and even a heavyweight so he can get more ears to his music. He is clearly talented and a new name to keep an eye out for in 2020.

North Carolina Emcee Trigga Delgoto raps about tough times with ”Favoritism”

Charlotte, North Carolina is the hometown for Rapper Trigga Delgoto. He is back with ”Favoritism” and this is a sad song all about life growing up in the hood and how he regrets some decisions that he has made. This is an emotional track full of hurt, jail, violence and hatred. An introspective look into the life of an emcee that is going though a tough time as he reflects on his life.

Trigga Delgoto is a rapper with a raw flow who puts it all on the line with this street banger. This song puts me into a dark place and I feel in a somber mood. We are placed into a story that is all too familiar. Trigga had to grow up very quickly and we are led into some tough memories about having to choose sides when barely an adult and having issues with his family. Adding to this life story is fathering a child and now being into lean and too much stress. This is a deep track and one that deserves respect.

YouTube is the place to hear this song and get his whole collection to your ears.

Artist Vice Gets Cleared For Landing

Rock music often gets a bad reputation for its cliche, bombast, its often cartoon like qualities. Throw in a bit of pop sensibility and you start to balance those negative qualities, add a dash of widescreen cinematic vibes, some anthemic qualities and a stadium ready alt-rock approach and you have something altogether more interesting, in fact you have Artist Vice’s Cleared For Landing.

It walks a line of pop addictiveness and rock robustness, of soaring harmonies and deftly layered musical textures, a balancing act which is difficult to say the least. Too far one way and you fall into the ungainly plod of the rock beast, moving the other way leaves you in the saccharine, throwaway territories of short shelf life pop, but get it right, as Artist Vice has done here, and the result is a mature and radio friendly sound that will ensure both popularity and longevity in equal measure.
