SixPortalz wraps their heartbreak around 808s in their Alt Indie Trap track “Welfed”

SixPortalz dropped their playfully pensive Alt Indie Trap hit Welfed on October 18th, they definitely made no bones about stamping down their evocatively nerdy signature style.

The raw volatility of the track may mean that Welfed isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. But anyone looking for abrasively recognisable emotions wrapped up in a melodically lo-fi production will find plenty to get enamoured by with Welfed.

The track reveals intimate shame-laden thoughts which all too infrequently get projected back at us, but through their humility, SixPortalz unapologetically offered an olive branch of connection, an invitation to crawl out of the insecurity which romantic catastrophe left you lingering in. Additionally, any track with an Invader Zim reference is a winner in our book.

Mix up your Trap playlists with JMisJustMe’s latest single “Westend”

JMisJustMe never fails to cook up an indulgent vibe with his tracks, his latest single Westend is no exception.

With the intricately light Trap instrumentals, you’re invited to slip into the mellifluously indulgent mix, with JMisJustMe’s vocals, you’re offered a connection. The verses run through at a steady pace to make sure that every syllable in the masterfully metered bars hits hard.

As the track progresses, the instrumentals start to offer psychotropic effects as they kaleidoscopically run through the low-tempo mix which will definitely mix up your ambient vibe-out playlists. The evolutionary nature of the track ensures that you’re transfixed until the outro when JMisJustMe starts to teasingly reveal his playfully enigmatic side. You’ll undoubtedly be itching to hear more from the artist once you get a taste of what is on offer in Westend. Get them on your radar.

Ajaxx Jordyn – Address It Rejaxx featuring Kayo Ken Baka

It’s getting harder and harder for Trap artists to make an impression on the airwaves. Yet, Ajaxx Jordyn’s blazing track Address It Rejaxx is leagues apart from the rest. Not through a fancy, polished production but for the high-vibes which the playfully gritty mix implants as you listen to the charismatic progressions run through.

Ajaxx Jordyn borrowed the Freddy Krueger nursery rhyme and implanted plenty of salacious ingenuity into it with their hedonistically mischievous lyrics. When you hit play, you’re not left with much of a choice in whether you get hooked in, the rhythmic grooves will leave you arrested before the first verse. If that isn’t the sign of a prodigal producer, I don’t really know what is.

No Signal implanted Trap into the Industrial Rock Arena with their Alt Rock hit “Digital Eyes”

The future is here, in the form of No Signal’s Alt Rock Trap hit Digital Eyes. The friction-laden, filthy instrumentals are the perfect pairing for No Signal’s darkly distorted vocals which bring the Trap elements into the monstrously indulgent mix.

Any fans of Celldweller, Skinny Puppy, Frontline Assembly and other melodic Industrial Rock artists are sure to hear plenty of appeal in this romantically ominous bass-riding hit.

Digital Eyes is the ultimate testament to the artist’s ability to cook up an ever-lasting earworm. You’ll want to give the track plenty of repeat attention to soak up the amorous ingenuity of the lyrics which alluringly compliments the raw, gritty grooves in the Industrial instrumentals.

Txrzxn x ABJ – Make a Wish: Compellingly Sweet Indie Trap Pop

For his latest single “Make a Wish”, Txrzxn teamed up with ABJ and producer Nextlanebeats to cook up a compellingly sweet Indie Trap Pop single which will leave you enamoured before the first verse has run through.

The soundscape may be melancholically tinged, but there’s plenty more to Make a Wish than just your average offering of Sad Boy Trap. Txrzxn’s incredibly magnetic vocals paradoxically inspire optimism as they run through the lovelorn and lost lyrics. With the intricately angular guitar notes around the steady hits of the Trap beats, there’s plenty of depth, texture and atmosphere to immerse yourselves within while the mesmeric midtempo track runs through.

Perceptibly, Txrzxn has a significant amount of commercial potential behind their sound. It’s only a matter of time before the rest of the world finds out about it. Get them on your radar.

Blackmajic – Go (Superstar Figure) featuring Almighty Bhiz, Jaylaflame and Reg Mason

New Wave Trap artist Blackmajic dropped their latest single Go (Superstar Figure) featuring Almighty Bhiz, Jaylaflame and Reg Mason on July 24th. If any Trap track deserves to go viral this summer, it is this one.

The bass-driven mix packs a high-octane punch, but you’ll still be able to lock into the rhythmic grind which is offered by Blackmajic’s flawlessly metered Rap bars. Paired with sharp melodic hooks, there’s little chance that you’ll hit play on Go without being fully immersed by the solid, fresh and alchemic rhythms.

It’s one of those rare tracks you hit play on and can’t sit still while listening to it. Hip Hop tracks with that kind of arrestive power are worth their weight in gold. Naturally, Blackmajic is well worth putting on your radar.

Blackmajic’s latest single Go is available to stream via all major platforms through this link.

Yung Rax is riding the new wave of Trap with their latest release “Quarantine Dreams”

US up and coming artist Yung Rax’s latest release “Quarantine Dreams” rides on the new wave of Trap while keeping way ahead of curve in the evolution of the genre. The angst in the lyricism hits hard, mainly due to the amount of resonance which you’ll find in the witty bars.

If you’ve been feeling disillusioned during quarantine, strap yourselves in for a deeply connectable ride.

The intricate wavy instrumentals create a mesmeric dreamy platform for Yung Rax’s contrasting candid, raw and honest Rap bars. He found the perfect balance with the vocal effects, there’s enough to allow their bars to fluidly melt into the infectious melodies, but not so much any of the conviction or emotion in their delivery has been lost. The mix may constantly evolve to keep the beats fresh, but from start to finish it delivers a consciousness-consuming grind. Yung Rax is definitely one to watch.

You can check out Yung Rax’s single on all streaming platforms including SoundCloud.

Key Boat 2300 has dropped their super-charged Trap Hit “Burnt Out”

https://soundcloud.com/keyboat2300/burnt-out-prod-by-seanmp3/s-MjMNNOJdEDN

For their latest single, breaking Hip Hop artist Key Boat 2300 teamed up with producer Sean.MP3 to create an aggressively immersive feat of New Wave Trap. If you want to hear just how far Trap has come in 2020, strap yourselves in and hit play on Burnt Out.

The high-energy supercharged hit makes it all too easy to connect with Key Boat 2300’s vibe and playful lyrical grind. If you’re feeling similarly burnt out, you’ll feel the apathy lift once you get stung with the fire of this unmissably fresh release.

With the wit in the gritty lyrics and the atmospheric production, Burnt Out has all the makings of a viral Hip Hop hit. I have a feeling that it’s only a matter of time before the artist has a viral track under their belt.

IvesSaint has taken Trap to melodic new realms with their second single “Last Night at Saint’s”

The evolution of Trap in 2020 continues to blow my mind. After hearing IvesSaint’s second single “Last Night at Saint’s” the up and coming artist became a clear pioneer by pushing the genre into brand-new accordant and melodic realms.

Last Night at Saint’s kicks off with absorbingly angular guitar notes before the steady arrestive beats kick in under IvesSaint’s candid lyricism which perfectly captures that horrendous lovelorn feeling which can lead you into a downward spiral.

We’ve all been there. But what sets IvesSaint apart from the rest is to throw the entirety of his pain into the mix in the hope that others will hear it and find comfort. His lyrical bravery is only matched by his instrumental authenticity. We can’t wait to hear what comes next.
