Free yourself from end of days anxiety with Movment’s alt post-punk single, The Light Goes Out

The Light Goes Out is the fourth single to creep out of the darkness of the third album, REINVENTION, from the alt post-punk outfit, Movment. If you have been waiting for humanity’s final curtain to fall in a state of perpetual fear, slip into the enticing ethos of the release which compels you not to sit idly by waiting to surrender to our collective fate.

The engorging atmospherics, pulsating darkwave synths, sirening guitar lines and the commanding assertion in the gravelly post-punk-to-the-bone vocal lines make a compelling argument on why you should live your life undogged by end of days anxiety. Movment reached the pinnacle of cheerful nihilism with The Light Goes Out, which ties into the overarching theme of the LP, which came to life at End of Light Studios in Ireland, as a courtesy of Alex Borwick (mixing), and Jerome Schmitt (mastering).

Movment made us pious to the post-punk rancour in their latest single, I Believe in Noise

If you fell for the rancour of the Fall and Public Image Limited, prepare to be consumed by the latest darkwave post-punk hit, I Believe in Noise, from Ireland’s most ensnaring powerhouse, Movment.

With the manifesto-esque lyricism, the unfaltering conviction in the vocal lines and the sirening synth lines that effortlessly coalesce with the angular stings from the lead guitars, Movment bred a dark and murky atmosphere within I Believe in Noise. But as the track title would lead you to believe, there’s salvation oozing from every chord.

If you have a hard time believing what you hear and see in our post-truth reality, I Believe in Noise will give you a place to put your faith that resistance isn’t futile. Adam Curtis couldn’t have written the hit better himself.

I Believe in Noise follows two successful studio LPs and the Red Death Sessions EP and harbingers the disquietness to come in the third album, Reinvention, which will be released on the 24th of November via EPITRONIC.

Movment chose ‘VIOLENCE’ in their protestive post-punk call to arms

‘VIOLENCE’ is the serendipitously timely new single from the Irish indie post-punk outfit, Movment; the pit-worthy call to arms in the wake of widespread apathy is exactly what our society confounded in fear of failure and futility needs to hear.

The boisterous chugging basslines roll with the percussive punches to fuel VIOLENCE with the aggravated energy required to stand up to the forces which make no bones about oppressing us. Under the fiery duress of Martin Kelly’s angsty vocal lines, the galvanically pulsating furore of the stagnation-emancipating record heightens to the nth degree while affirming that if utilised properly, anger can be one of the most powerful driving forces known to man.

Now that John Lydon is a national embarrassment and the gloss has been taken off PIL, it is all too refreshing to have Movment on our radar.

No Wind Blows: Ireland’s Movment wonder when the madness will end on ‘We All Must Go’

Taken off their just-dropped 10-track album that communicates to us their ‘Transformation‘, Movment returns gloriously with their 2nd single that unconditionally heats up the veins and this one is called ‘We All Must Go‘.

Movment is an Ireland-based indie alt-rock/post-punk band that is honest to the core and make a gripping blend of hard-edged music that slices diligently through into the truth and endeavours to set us free.

”There is a divergence in society. The new album Transformation, due in December 2021, explores this situation. We are bombarded with information, opinions, viewpoints, and words. We drown in ideas, in solutions, in propaganda. There needs to be a TRANSFORMATION from where we are now.” ~ Movment

Movment smartly slam the door on anything that isn’t sincere and toss away the key. They alternatively ask us to have faith and climb off this fake mountain we live on right now and join them into a new world where everything is completely transparent. With simmering energy that urges our confusion-filled eyes to see clearer, this is a precise effort from an introspective band.

‘We All Must Go‘ from the Ireland-based indie alt-rock act Movment, is a colossal track from an experienced band who seem like they are on a mission. Fed up with all the nonsense and false news narratives that confuse so many – this is a ravaging effort that should wake up those slumber-filled minds – into finding out what really is going on. Another Way: Ireland’s MOVMENT enthusiastically seeks the undeniable truth on ‘Propaganda’

As their new album ‘TRANSFORMATION‘ approaches with an expected 2nd December 2021 release date set, MOVMENT drop the first single which is rather ominously named ‘Propaganda‘.

MOVMENT is an experimental indie alt-rock band from the beautiful shores of Ireland. They make that truthfully advanced soundscape which seeks to educate us all, so that we may truly be informed.

Sung with a slightly frustrated tone as the world feels like it is burning currently, the band gives us a inside look into what is real, fake or in-between the blood-soaked lines. Their style is intensely rugged here and the book is totally open, as they go Neo-like and attempt to find Morpheus so that everything may be explained in a way that makes total sense.

‘Propaganda‘ from the conscious Irish indie rockers MOVMENT, is a track all about wading through the confusion-riddled matrix to find that heart-glowing truth that you really seek. With so much misinformation out there for humanity to gobble up greedily without a second thought, this is the true message that so many need to hear. Do you own research, only trust viable sources and more importantly, don’t believe everything you read or hear.

The real story is inside somewhere, if you are open minded enough and ready to take your time to seek what is really going on.
