Jaguar Jaguar is the exciting Minneapolis, Minnesota-based dark synthpop/indie rock act with a style that is so unique you will need to listen twice, as they intertwine together such mysterious sounds which mystify your mind to unlock a new level.

This is the story about feeling like an outsider, you are in the party but you can’t seem to get into the proper zone and feel like you are in a different world. You wish that you could change and become someone else, as you think about turning into a new face that will be alive and taken notice of for once. You know not to panic however, as things will change around soon if you break away from this stale energy, that has tied you inside.

The multi-skilled sounds are so gripping and has you impressed by the different layers that are somehow spellbinding and complex – each verse changes up without notice – and twists your mood into a frenzied state of hypnotized enjoyment.

Joe Fahey is a soulful Minneapolis, Minnesota indie blues singer-songwriter, who performs from the bottom of his soul, as he explores stories about his life and trying to make sure that he lives each day to its fullest.

This is the story about how the world does indeed spin around at a rapid rate, and we need to make sure that we are in the right rotational element, otherwise we will spin around and end up flat like a pancake, with so many regrets.

His sings with that 70’s vintage feel that has your ears perked up like the buzz you feel after a cup of coffee, you get lost in the song and gaze outside your dusty window, wondering if you can still go on exciting adventures someday soon to make up for being stuck inside for too long.

I don’t want you there: Nigel T drops eye-catching visuals for ‘Get Out Of My Head’

With a deep frustration about a former friendship causing him pain, Nigel T shreds all thoughts of the person away rapidly on the fiery new single ‘Get Out Of My Head‘.

Nigel T is an indie rapper/singer from Minneapolis in Minnesota, who breaks the genres of metal and hip-hop into his own escape from this wild world, with breakneck appeal that you need to keep up with. Minneapolis, Minnesota-based hip-hop emcee Cashinova, spits that lyrically supreme music that shreds down the walls of doubt and pulls you into his world, with mouth-watering bars and charm for days.

Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Daughter Of Dawn is the stunning solo project of the multi-talented Emma Goldman Grey who is a proudly trans musician and activist, who created that special blend of calming guitar fueled trip-hop music that makes you listen intently, the hairs all over your body stand to attention and fills your soul with heart-beating authenticity that breezes effortlessly through your curious speakers.

All five tracks on this wonderful EP are of equal quality and this is a real rarity, with a world full of fillers and songs that don’t fit inside of the matrix.

With a soothingly mysterious voice, Emma transfixes you into an altered state with a peaceful power that very few posses. The glorious soundscapes are so cinematic as you feel like you are floating in a dream as you are so locked into being relaxed that everything else seems to insignificant.

She’s so nice you fell in love twice: Ethan Ness sings of that special feeling inside his heart on ‘In Love Again’

Soulfully honest Forest Lake, Minnesota singer-songwriter Ethan Ness returns with his new storytelling gem on ‘In Love Again‘ which is taken off this latest full length album ‘Along The Way‘.

The jazzy-blues start walks us into the door of this intricate song that soon morphs into more of a pop song to add even further intrigue into the mix. The bouncy rhythm gets you into the mood to dance and be free again, after this locked up inside kinda year.

This is an immensely talented singer who has the gift to tell a story so vividly and with a real look inside the world of being in love. You have that fuzzy feeling inside your stomach and your whole world feels so much better when you think of her.

The story evolves throughout and soon we hear how he feel so deep in love and everything was so fun and real. The feeling inside his heart was happy and calm, but then something happened. She moved on and left him behind and from there, it was over so quickly like a flame that has been blown out by the wind. You took it badly but it seemed at first that she didn’t really care.

Then, the world swung around 360 degrees and she is back in town. The love is there again and you are smitten. Falling in love with the same person twice is always risky, especially if you get let down again as that would hurt you twice as hard.

This is a groovy love story with layers of incredible background music and the chorus will have you singing at th etop of your lungs all day. ‘Along The Way‘ from the eloquently talented Ethan Ness is a sweet story about how you can still love someone even through they seemed to walk away form you before. If you can both trust each other again, maybe a 2nd chance of love is truly possible.

Having a laugh to forget the pain: Minnesota musician Ethan Ness reflects on wild ride with ‘Moodswing’

Ethan Ness takes us on a riveting ride via his new indie-rock single ‘Moodswing’. With the ominous laugh in the background and edgy guitar strums to wake us up from our 2020 slumber, this is a song that helps us have a chuckle and vibe to good music at the same time. Taken off the brand new full album ‘IIX’, this is a track all about trying to get out of your funk that you just can’t seem to shake off like Taylor Swift.

This is the story of waking up way too early and you just can’t seem to sleep or wake up either. You are caught up the middle of the vast vortex of life. His voice is so smooth throughout and the tone is tremendous, you feel like his a likable musician with the extra bit of class that is so often lacking.

With a great sense of humor and lots of name dropping such as The Rock, you hold on during this roller-coaster ride and enjoy each second. Music like this is so rare these days as the same formula gets dragged around again and again. This is a fresh new style that makes you think about all those times you laughed in the face of having a day to forget.

Life can be crazy and your mood can different from moment to moment as 2020 throws us so many curve balls we all start to feel dizzy sometimes. Minnesota, USA singer-songwriter Ethan Ness brings us some quality music and comedy all combined on his ‘Moodwing’. This is an accurate description of the year and how you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously, or be too hard on yourself either.

‘Sweeter, Cleaner, Greener’ from Noel Shiri is the splendidly innocent song we needed in 2020

Saint Paul, Minnesota is the home of the talented singer-songwriter Noel Shiri as she returns with her ‘Sweeter, Cleaner, Greener‘.

Noel Shiri is a writer, podcaster, composer, roleplayer and all round good human. She is the composer and sound engineer for the critically acclaimed ‘Dames and Dragons‘ podcast as well as being a supremely talented musician with a gorgeously innocent voice.

This is an artist that doesn’t take herself too seriously and is such a pleasurable listen that you can’t help but like. If our role models were half as genuine as Noel then the world would be a better place. I get lost in her voice and imagine watching her live, outside with lots of fairy lights and good energy all over the crowd.

Taken off her latest album, ‘Dirty Calendar‘, this is a sweet song and I like how consistent this vocals are here and the mellow background to accompany it. She has so much talent and you can tell her authentic nature is so real. ‘Sweeter, Cleaner, Greener‘ is one of the most refreshing songs you will hear all year.

Saint Paul, Minnesota was the hometown for singer-songwriter Jim Soule and he is now based in Chicago where his music career has blossomed. He is joined currently by Mike Soule and Chad Wheeling. Together they form a formidable trio who pack the speakers with enthusiastic abandon here with their indie-rock feels.

”A New Brand of Fiction” started off as a curious how much sleep will Jim get once his next kid arrives type of song. This vivid lyrics wrapped inside also speaks of a life that sometimes shows you to show more confident and learn from it. Ups and downs.

”Forget The Days” is the brand new album from the legend that is Jim Soule and this is a sterling effort from the wily and wise singer-songwriter and masterful poet. This is a song that is characterized by that underdog effort inside your tired bones. Being exhausted and working all the time is now a new norm that shouldn’t be.

The band impress on this song with this strong indie-rock bluesy feel. A winning song for a society that is shouting for heroes and positive music.
