I Should Let Go: Chris Milo keeps on holding onto those vivid ‘Memories’

As he glances into the dusty mirror and wonders why they pretended to love him in the first place, Chris Milo gazes intently and wishes that he hadn’t wasted his time as he still thinks of them whilst comprehending that he shouldn’t on ‘Memories‘.

Chris Milo is an 18-year-old Long Island, New York-born indie-pop multi-instrumentalist, music producer, actor, and much-respected dancer.

In addition to singing, Chris is also an accomplished dancer, having appeared at numerous, international Latin ballroom competitions. He has also appeared in independent films as well as performed on numerous main stage theatre productions in the New York area.” ~ Chris Milo

With a voice so uncorrupted and carefully-written lyrics which are so strikingly unpretentious that it leaves you remembering their name forever, Chris Milo shows us why he is so highly regarded as one of the most exciting young acts to truly keep a close eye on globally. His crisply calm style feels like the first bite of the tastiest meal you have ever eaten, that soothes your palate and entrenches a time in your life that you will find hard to forget.

Memories‘ from the well-liked Long Island, New York-born indie-pop multi-instrumentalist, music producer, actor, and dancer Chris Milo, is a nostalgic single from a young man who can’t get his ex’s picture out of his mind. He feels like he needs to move on but somehow struggles to, as he wonders if they will ever leave his consciousness. The vividness was so real for him, as he feels like a fool who was lied to by a soul-grabbing greedy human who had evil intentions.

Sometimes love just doesn’t make sense and is unfairly cruel, teaching us a valuable lesson to be so careful on who we let see our precious energy.

Familiar Scent: German band Sombrerobeach remember those childhood days which have been destroyed on ‘Mortar, Bricks and Memories’ (feat. Serouj Guidanian)

After having lots of fun with the ‘Grapefruit Song‘ from February 2021, Sombrerobeach move into a more serious topic about how your family home and town can get destroyed so quickly, and leave behind only distant memories with ‘Mortar, Bricks and Memories(feat. Serouj Guidanian).

Sombrerobeach is an evolving German indie pop-rock band who have smoothly moved into hard-rock for this new single, as they are joined on vocals by established Beirut, Lebanon-based rock-metal artist from Vahakn, Serouj Guidanian.

This is the story about recalling those innocent times and you miss those friends who have since moved on to different areas, as you think deeply about those days and shed a small tear. You realize that things had to change – but it still makes you upset –  as you wanted some memories today, to feel better about this rather weird world.

Performed with a hard edge that has you turning the volume up, you feel uplifted by this effort as you think back to your own childhood and wonder what is left of it. The vocals are performed with real class, and backed up by a full-paced soundscape, that has your heart beating so much quicker than before.

Mortar, Bricks and Memories(feat. Serouj Guidanian) from the German indie pop-rock/hard rock act Sombrerobeach, is a ravaging track with gritty vocals that lifts the gloom off the floor, as this is the story that strikes home hard. You recall those fun days of your youth but deep down know that things needs to move on, as you eat some sushi where the old playground used to be.

Like A Perfect Dream: LA’s Scott Rocco is on top form with new single ‘Wish You Well’

As he carefully carries the love from those beautiful memories that are sowed into his mind forever, Scott Rocco sings with such desirable passion on his new single about wishing they had more time together on ‘Wish You Well’.

Scott Rocco is an underdog Los Angeles-based indie rock singer-songwriter. He sings for those who need a lift and inspiration in this crazy world — that can sneakily soak you up with so much distasteful negativity — if you let it grab you tightly for a daunting ride, in the gusting winds of uncertainty.

He sings with such energy and his strong vocals seem to gradually illuminate the nights sky, as his smartly penned lyrics tell you the truth and keep it refreshingly simple.

This is the story about how things were going so well but they had to move away suddenly — the world harsh sometimes of course — but your attitude never dwindling down to the unnecessary depths of regret.

Wish You Well‘ from the high caliber Los Angeles-based indie singer-songwriter Scott Rocco, shows us that you can be classy even if it didn’t work out the way you wanted it to play out. Love can be harsh but having the self-awareness to be gracious and to show that you really enjoyed your time together — is clearly the best way to be at peace with the moment — and to love again so bright, when the time is just right.

‘Shadows of a Kid’: The story of how life can take the innocence from you so quickly from young rapper Joseph Milton

When a new rapper hits the scene it can either go three ways. Either they crash and burn early, they have one good song and disappear or there is long-lasting success. ‘Shadows of a Kid‘, the lead single from the self-tilted EP of the same name from new emcee Joseph Milton, seems to fall in the latter category.

With an honest depiction of his life and how things are now in a soul-searching mode, this is a new Hip Hop track with plenty of bite and grit- just what the genre was invented for. To take real stories and make them real to listeners all over the world, is the American dream.

Shadows of a Kid‘ from the young and supremely gifted rapper Joseph Milton delves deep into memories from his youth, remembering when life was a lot simpler. This is a Hip Hop track with so much potential, the lyrical ability is quite phenomenally put together and delivered like a real professional who has so much hunger.

With this type of sword-like cutting edge to his arsenal, this is an exciting time for a genre that seems to be losing its previous dominance of music fans worldwide. A new hero has just made his cape and we are here to be saved.
