Taken off their latest ‘Potluck‘ album due for 14th August and which is their second release so far, Dr. Daylight’s Jazz Company bring us back to a classic time on the nostalgic ‘Louisiana Fairy Tale‘ (feat. Rob Pate).

Dr. Daylight’s Jazz Company is a highly entertaining Lafayette, Louisiana-based indie-jazz band created by bandleader Jake Spinella.

Since forming in 2018, they have delighted crowds all over with an assortment of classics and bring with a variety of incredible musicians, who bring that classic-feel back while also keeping things fresh and modern.

He is an artist who sings from the heart and its clear that he isn’t afraid to show his emotions, so that he may help others who are perhaps feeling a bit down in life or love.

Ride With Me: Louisiana RnB artist Mosez X has found his beautiful lambo on ‘Pull Up’

As he get down and dirty whilst making sure that the car is perfectly tuned for the much-anticipated date later on, Mosez X knows exactly which gear he needs to get into on the steamin’ new RnB single that is rather evocatively exciting with the music video for ‘Pull Up‘.

Mosez X is a single-minded Louisiana, USA-born, indie RnB artist. He has a purely created style with a supremely strong voice and makes that lights-down-low music, that puts your mind at a real ease.

With a spectacular voice that is so silky smooth you might be blushing when you listen to him, he takes full charge and shows his bulging muscles on a terrific effort here. This is a romantic song that is just over two minutes and is worth every second, as the mood is alive and the visuals are a pleasure on the eagle eye.

‘Pull Up‘ from the confident Louisiana-based indie RnB musician Mosez X, is a trip to the workshop as he gets the car purring like a sweet kitty cat, as she waits for him to drive her around town. His mind is made up and he likes the way that she revs up, as he turns on the emotion switch, to make sure that this is going to be a special night.

Louisiana-born, California-based original Hip Hop artist and positive-thinker Sidney Celeste is a talented young man that thinks out the box and has that extra hunger to succeed. He makes music to support his family so his Dad can quit his job and wants to inspire others to follow their dreams. This is an artist to support and this is exactly the attitude this self-centered influenced world needs more of.

His breathtaking rap delivery is so hot you might need a swim in the cold ocean and after-sun lathered to your whole body, to cool the burnt body down after this heatwave. The bars he is able to pull out is quite extraordinary and the scary thing is- he is only just getting started.

‘Axis Mundi‘ from California’s Sidney Celeste is a fierce journey about making a statement to other rappers around and also vividly showing the sexy story-telling of a Lord who has the ladies doing what he wants. This is a masterful lyricist who seems to be getting better and better, with his full potential not even reached yet. With lots of potential and an arsenal of wordplay yet to be discovered, future success is endless if he can stay focused and map out his whole plan without major distractions.

‘Do It‘ is the rebuilding theme of 2020 from DG & The Freetown Sound that shines through, like the sun bursting through the clouds, to make us happy again.

With lots of fantastic vintage jazzy-soul and blues, this is quite the inspirational song during these wild times. The band have folk-influences with a simmering of drum grooves, thumping bass, this is a 5-piece who keep things original all the way. Their music is something quite incredible, the variety of sounds keep all humans happy. This is a Lafayette, LA band we need to pay more attention to.

Dustin Dale Gaspard, the co-creator here and comes from Cow Island in Louisiana. This is a landscape of mysterious rich marshland, ancient shrouding oak trees, and dream inducing nights and days with lots of beauty. His simple upbringing granted a proper mindset to stay humble and be grateful in all life’s endeavors. Often feeling misunderstood, he began exploring music when he was 17 and the rest as they say, is history. This is a poet right before our eyes, a man who truly lives for the music.

The Americana twist on ‘Do It‘ is so great to hear and there are so many genres here for us to fully enjoy. DG & The Freetown Sound are the type of band all ages will enjoy and this is a perfect track to start the day with. A genuine sound and a band that is so funky fresh you might need to go for a shower.

”All the Way” from Rhonda Merrick is a story of love and so perfectly explained. She is ready to settle down and sing. Her family is important to her and with these three passions, she is now happy. Coming from a music family has been a blessing and a curse. Rhonda is now moving above all doubts and the time is now here. After being close in 2011, the timing was off when she almost signed with Universal Music. Being a Mom meant so much more. 2020 has been a challenge but when the going gets tough, the tough get going.
