Get your self-esteem back with Mitchel Logan’s latest single Don’t Really Need You

Mitchel Logan

Is there anything better than belated epiphanies which occur after you realise that other people in this world are never the source of your happiness or purpose? Mitchel Logan’s Alt Lo-Fi RnB track Don’t Really Need You perfectly captures that liberating feeling of elation.

Don’t Really Need You holds the same accordant appeal of Lou Barlow’s melodically intimate solo project, yet, any comparisons to Mitchel Logan’s sound are incredibly fleeting. What starts out as a lofty minimalist Indie production evolves into a passion-soaked intensely beautiful track which simply drips with empowerment. If your self-esteem needs a boost after a romantically tragic battering, hit play.

You will be able to check out Don’t Really Need You from October 23rd via all major streaming services. In the meantime, you can head on over to SoundCloud to check out their former releases.

Qeeran

Even a global lockdown couldn’t stop Malaysian-born, Melbourne-based artist and producer Qeeran releasing yet another smoothly amorous RnB-infused bedroom Pop single.

You’ll have to wait a little longer before you can check out More Than Enough for yourselves. In the meantime, check out Qeeran’s equally as airy and resolving releases via SoundCloud.

Avery has released her absorbingly intimate Indie Alt Pop single “Indebted to the Gravity”

https://soundcloud.com/user-807931048/indebted-to-the-gravity-1

Up and coming Alternative artist Avery’s latest single “Indebted to the Gravity” proves that you don’t need a flashy pristinely polished production to make an impression on the airwaves. Simply offering a connectable raw soundscape is all it takes.

The lo-fi production in Indebted to the Gravity gives the release an absorbing intimacy which compels you to immerse yourself even deeper into the slightly morose yet powerfully compelling soundscape.

The quiescent almost whispered vocals run through the candid lyrics which come without pretence, just unbridled honesty. Creating the perfect platform for Avery’s vocals are the soft and accordant electronic beats which spill warmth into the ethereally magnetic mix. It’s hypnotic from start to finish. There truly is little room to wonder why so many Alt Pop fans return to her resolving sound.

Raphi poured soulfully organic good vibes onto the airwaves with her Lo-Fi Pop track “When We Gonna”

Raphi

It’s safe to say that up and coming Pop artist Raphi is on creative fire during lockdown. Her latest track “When We Gonna” is just one of the organically soulful singles which she’s written and co-produced during quarantine to share some much-needed good vibes on the airwaves.

She definitely succeeded with When We Gonna which borrowed nuances of 90s RnB Pop to infuse in a modernistic resonantly uplifting Lo-Fi Pop earworm. Between the funky basslines, Raphi’s instantly magnetic vocals and the distinction which lies in the production of the track, When We Gonna demands repeat attention.

When We Gonna is due for official release on May 22nd, in the meantime you can head on over to Facebook to keep up to date with news on the release, and you can check out Raphi’s former releases via SoundCloud.

Brat Pitt Has Released Their Unmissable Indie Dream Pop Debut Single “Wallow”

Singer-songwriter Brat Pitt has made their debut with their unforgettably stunning Lo-Fi Indie single “Wallow”. If you could imagine what it would sound like if you put the Beatles, Elliott Smith and The Smiths in an aural blender, you’ll get an idea of just how distinctively mesmeric Wallow is.

The intimate bedroom Pop feel amplifies the accessibility of the candidly connectable single which has plenty of earworm potential. While the nuances of Surf Rock, Psych Pop, and Indie Jangle Pop ensure that you’ve never ingested dreamy melodic alchemy quite like this before. With an upcoming EP in the works, Brat Pitt is definitely one to watch.

It Came to This – Shingles: Refreshingly Façade-Free Bedroom Pop Punk

https://soundcloud.com/itcametothis/shingles

Up and coming artist It Came to This claims their music is “exactly the kind of Pop-Punk the world needs at a time like this”, we wholeheartedly agree.

As soon as you hit play on their tracks you’re met with a flood of unashamedly human angst. There’s no pretence or façade, just honest, connectable sentiment paired with upbeat rhythms to sweeten the disillusionment.

Shingles is just one of the endearingly catchy singles to be released by the bedroom Pop Punk. It may be a Lo-Fi production, but with the sharpness of the melodic hooks and the tight synergy between the raucously disquiet instrumentals and the Emo Rock-inspired vocals stand as a testament to It Came to This’ talent.

I’m sure I won’t be the only one hoping for more cathartically quaint releases in the future from It Came to This.

Heads or Heads – Nightfall: Lo-Fi Trip-Hop Laced Psych Pop

Low Angles by Heads or Heads

The intellectualism practically drips from the synth-led latest single to be released by up and coming Alt Psych Pop artist Heads or Heads. “Nightfall” laces the dreamy lo-fi mix with subtle elements of Trip Hop to ensure that it offers plenty of Funk to take with you on your cathartically psychedelic Trip.

The Missouri based artist utilised archaic urban elements, deconstructed them, and revived them in an absorbingly fresh work of ingenuity.  Expect a kaleidoscope of colour to be spilt as it softly unravels.

If you can imagine what it would sound like if Mike Patton started releasing more ambient and melodic music, you’d get an idea of what Nightfall offers. Aural ambient treats don’t come much more indulgent than this.

You can stream or download Heads or Heads latest single Nightfall for yourselves by heading over to Bandcamp now.
