King Brian versed the gospel of manifestation in his latest alt-RnB single, Gotta Make It

Gotta Make It by King Brian

King Brian (AKA Brian Christopher Brown) is a master of all creative trades, and jack of none; the Michigan-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter, dancer, author, filmmaker and producer honed his talents at a young age, and at this stage of the game, he is nobodies’ pawn.

His latest single, Gotta Make It, is an extension of his impassioned aspiration to become a catalyst for positive transformation worldwide; also noted through his series of books which explore how to unlock enlightenment, fulfilment and self-actualisation. By fusing the soul of RnB and the conviction of rap verses within a melodically tight, and transcendentally iridescent all-consuming pop-hooked production, Gotta Make It is an unflinching statement of intent from an artist determined to bring his rapidly expanding audience to gaze through his illuminated and empowered world view.

Gotta Make It surpasses the tired hustler hip-hop tropes by delivering the gospel of manifestation to anyone ready to take control of their lives, instead of blindly wishing for kismet or karma to pay them their dues.

Gotta Make It is exclusively available on Bandcamp until the single reaches all major streaming platforms on July 7th. Find your preferred way to listen here.

By Yourself: King Brian found someone so special but they vanished into the night on ‘Heroes In Love’

With his vividly impassioned recollection going back to that special moment when he found someone so similar to him, King Brian wonders why she left so quickly as he desired those precious kisses forever on ‘Heroes In Love‘.

Brian Christopher Brown aka King Brian is a strong 6’5” tall Southeastern Michigan-raised RnB/soul solo artist, dancer, filmmaker, and music producer.

He grew up in Southeastern Michigan, where his interests in music grew further as a result of hearing the music of greats such as Michael Jackson, Tupac Shakur, and Prince. He wrote his first hip-hop lyrics at the age of 13, which dealt with his day-to-day life as a kid, as well as the hardships of African-Americans in the United States.” ~ King Brian

King Brian sings with a majestic manner that is so effortless and drives him to look deeper into this tragic story of a lost romance, that he can’t seem to vacate from his mind. He thought that there was something unique about the way that their natural energy was aligned but unfortunately he was the only one who truly cared about that energy which has almost faded away permanently.

Heroes In Love‘ from the multi-dimensional and physically imposing Southeastern Michigan-raised RnB/soul artist and music producer King Brian, shows us a man who has had his tender heart crushed cruelly by a momentary lover who didn’t care as much as he thought. Sung with a sincere mentality that has so much regret entrenched into this endearing story, this is a reminder that sometimes the world is insensitive and certain people can use you for their own gain.

King Brian calls for an end to injustice with his latest cinematic RnB single, Reparations

King Brian, AKA Brian Christopher Brown, is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, filmmaker and producer; he poured all of his cinematic poise into his latest single, Reparations. Starting with the hard-hitting lyrics ‘we’ve been cursed for so long, but we are still strong’, emotional investment in the single is non-optional.

His latest single does plenty more than just run you through 400 years of sufferance and oppression; it acts as a celebration of every triumph over adversity. King Brian takes plenty of influence from artists such as Michael Jackson, Tupac and Prince; there may not be much sonic resemblance in the soundscape. Yet, Reparations undoubtedly carries the same sense of soul that will test your own soul’s capacity to feel.

The Radio Edit of Reparations is now available to stream and purchase via Bandcamp.

King Brian runs through 30 years of hurt in his resilient RnB Hip Hop single, Blood Sweat & Tears.

Breaking RnB artist King Brian candidly exposes 30 years of hurt in his latest single, Blood Sweat & Tears, which sonically carries plenty of reminiscence to lovelorn 90s RnB hits with a contemporary introspective style.

It’s so far beyond the ‘my love life sucks’ kind of RnB that constantly spills onto the airwaves in swathes; the single almost allows you to consider what RnB would sound like if RnB artists weren’t constantly fixated on romantic success. Brian broaches the topic of love in Blood Sweat & Tears, but just as in life, it isn’t the be-all and end-all.

Anyone whose mentality errs on the side of melancholy will find plenty of resonance in the contemporary RnB hip hop single that relays familiar anxieties and feelings of isolation through lack of understanding over fierce trap beats and RnB melodies.

Blood Sweat & Tears is now available to stream on SoundCloud.
