From the EP Sooner Than You Think, Omo Aston drops his new single Man On!

Irish singer and songwriter Omo Aston has dropped his new single Man On! from the EP Sooner Than You Think.

Unfolding from Afrobeat sounds rooted in his Nigerian descent and outlining a paramount part of the arrangement, the song is like a gust of fresh air for an R&B-derived hip hop effort to the likes of artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean. Despite being in the scene since only 2018, Omo Aston prides himself on having achieved thousands of streams without any other support but his talent and an ever-evolving sound that gets to explore features of Soul and even Jazz.

While still being an emerging artist, he’s already gained awareness and appraisal by Irish urban magazines, and it’s fair to expect he’s going to deliver on that pledge in his upcoming project in 2021.

But for now, you can head over Spotify and check out Man On! for yourself.

Relying solely on the support of his guitar and his voice, September is the latest release by Irish singer-songwriter Daniel Jackson

With his debut EP coming out soon, September is the latest release by Irish singer-songwriter Daniel Jackson.

Relying solely on the support of his guitar and his voice, just like many other Irish acts are widely known for, September is an upbeat, cheerful in sound, pop ballad that brings forward a pinch of folk roots.

Daniel’s powerful and thick vocals possess such spirit and passion they make you deeply plunge into the music, and completely immerse yourself into the sweet portrait he describes in his lyrics when singing of a breath-taking something that eventually identifies itself as love – that something he’s been looking for. The love dedication is utterly pure and genuine, as pure as his approach to song-writing.

‘Great tone mate!’, somebody comments on his Soundcloud profile page, and I totally second that!

You can listen to September for yourself on Soundcloud.

ROFI JAMES HAVE RELEASED THEIR NEW SINGLE ‘EVERYTIME I MAKE YOU HATE ME’

Irish indie rock band Rofi James released their new single ‘Everytime I Make You Hate Me’ on April 24th 2020, an alternative pop effort that follows the success of their previous debut singles ‘Fools For Your Love’ and ‘Open Eyes’.

‘Everytime I Make You Hate Me’ is a compelling combination of the best indie pop and indie rock influences of the last decade, with its melodies sounding original and fresh among the contemporary alternative scene.

The song presents a range of pads and rhythmic guitars that broaden the sound both in the verses and choruses, and grows even wider with the balanced pop drums resulting in a almost epic harmony. The little crunch in the vocals perfectly suits the sweetness of the overall song, a fantastic contrast that will immediately catch your ear.

Head over to Spotify and listen to ‘Everytime I Make You Hate Me’.

John Crossan releases latest single 2 Wheels & 3 Bottles

John Crossan has released his latest single ‘2 Wheels & 3 Bottles’, Soul, Pop and Rock combine for this calming and catchy piece.

Plucking at the guitar strings creating that smooth instrumental, adding in a tap to the strings to create that slight difference in sound, using the acoustic to his advantage and playing it in such a mesmerising way as it combines with the vocals perfectly.

John’s tone is light and tranquil, keeping that same pitch and that same tone, always managing to hit every note in an excellent way, whilst making sure that the instrumentation collides alongside the tone.

John Crossan’s new piece has so much potential, the skills he has on the guitar are insane and you must check this one out.
