Spielbone has released their neo-classic electronica aid to rumination ‘Les mérites du doute’

German-Ivorian composer, Spielbone, made their debut in 2018 with their minimalist neo-classic twist on ambient electronica, in 2020, he released his pacifyingly immersive album ‘Infinitesimal’ any fans of Nils Frahm or similar contemporaries are going to want to pay attention.

In a time when sanctity of any form is scarce, meditative soundscapes such as Les mérites du doute are worth their weight in aural gold. As Chamber strings draw across the keys, the ruminative soundscape pulls you in deeper into the sanguine essence. Spielbone’s ability to set synapses alight and make heartstrings feel taut will undoubtedly see him going far in 2021 and beyond.

beatsage – Kings Will Rise featuring Waywell

‘Kings Will Rise’ is the sensually meditative latest soundscape from LA-based electronica artist and producer, beatsage (AKA Chad Taylor), with the reverb-drenched woozy guitar from featuring artist, Waywell, beatsage’s sound became more luminary than ever.

In the absence of lyrics and vocals, the onus is on the electronic progressions and the lofty mellifluous guitar notes with their hypnotic bends to make Kings Will Rise an evocative experience; beatsage discernibly didn’t fail. From start to finish, the monolithic 7:54-minute mix, will lock you into the alchemy which so easily breathes between the two artists. As the track gears up to reach its climax, elements of funk wind their way into the mix as the electronic elements are stripped back and Waywell’s rhythmic prowess dominates the lush shimmering soundscape.

Kings Will Rise is now available to stream via Spotify.

Momento has celestially revived Sigur Ros and Devotcha’s ‘Through The Horizon’

Self-described as ‘Genre-Fluid Performers’, childhood friends Jonathan Chan and Jan Bislin – better known as Momento – are multi-instrumentalists, performers, and composers, specialising in a mixture of original and reworked pop and classical compositions. Here presenting their new single ‘Through The Horizon’, a mixture of Sigur Ros’ ‘Hoppipolla’ and ‘How It Ends’ by Devotchka, the classically trained duo mix electric and acoustic violin performances with sequenced electronic drums and synthesiser parts to create a beautiful, entrancing soundscape that is at once familiar and wholly new.

Already well-established as support for acts as diverse as Tim Minchin, James Blunt, and Gary Barlow, and with over half-a-million YouTube views under their belts – as well as regular headline shows on the streaming platform Sofar Sounds – Jonathan and Jan have here created a beguiling instrumental piece which allows both performers to shine, never overly flashy yet clearly demonstrating their supreme musicianship and arrangement expertise. Based on ‘Through The Horizon’, 2021 should be pretty memorable for Memento.

Check out ‘Through The Horizon’ on YouTube, and follow Memento on Instagram and Facebook.

8udDha bl0od – Ophiuchus: Serafin: Transfixingly Avant-Garde Progressive Alt Rock

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/ophiuchus-serafin/s-oatUmsMFUld

Ophiuchus: Serafin is the latest single to be released from the immeasurably ingenious aural alchemist 8udDha bl0od. If any artist could be described as the modern-day equivalent to The Residents, it’s 8udDha bl0od

The Brighton-based artist may constantly switch up their sound with their new releases, but you can usually rely on a transfixing level of avant-garde accessible chaos. The accordantly rhythmic disarray in Ophiuchus: Serafin certainly didn’t disappoint.

Within Ophiuchus: Serafin, you’ll find nuances of Psych Rock, Surf Rock, No Wave and plenty more. The ten-minute extended track may make some dramatic tonal shifts and throw some discord your way, but each progression is as indulgent as the last.

If there’s an artist we’re grateful to have discovered this year, it’s 8udDha bl0od with their infinitely wild imagination when it comes to orchestrating soundscapes.

You can check out Ophiuchus: Serafin which was released on July 20th for yourselves by heading over to SoundCloud now.

8udDha bl0od

Brighton-based experimental artist 8udDha bl0od has a tendency to leave us transfixed by their constantly evolving sound. With their upcoming release “SUm 0f the !x|xi gl17ch35 & 7h3 x!i 73ll7A!L 51gn5 0f 5p3c7R3 SARk0pH.:.rgU5” they’ve left us emotionally stung and aurally enamoured once more.

In their usual style, 8udDha bl0od ensured that the track carried an arsenal of curveballs which will throw you from the accordance you have settled into.

As the track kicks off, there’s something incredibly piercing about the artful tone and tempo despite the light textures and transcendent air which breathes around the slightly psychedelic progressions in the ethereally resolving soundscape.

Halfway through the 7-minute track, SUm 0f the !x|xi gl17ch35 & 7h3 x!i 73ll7A!L 51gn5 0f 5p3c7R3 SARk0pH.:.rgU5 takes an unexpected turn and veers in the direction of Lo-Fi Brit Pop which any fans of Blur will appreciate. But the evolutions in 8udDha bl0od’s track doesn’t end there. To fade out, 8udDha bl0od uses a haunting cinematic neo-noir outro which dissipates into the sound of rolling waves.

We needed no more proof that 8udDha bl0od was one of the most talented underground artists around in 2020, but with their latest single, he delivered yet another undeniable affirmation of his pioneeringly astounding talent.

SUm 0f the !x|xi gl17ch35 & 7h3 x!i 73ll7A!L 51gn5 0f 5p3c7R3 SARk0pH.:.rgU5 is due for release on July 5th. You’ll be able to check it out yourselves via SoundCloud from the date of the release.

Synth-soaked Sapha styles the loops to perfection with stunning ”Isolated”

https://soundcloud.com/heysapha/isolated

Based in Wuppertal in Germany this is a loop-filled song with all-time goodness. Producer Sapha revives our battered hearts with this marvelously created Avicii (RIP) type beat that triggers all those hairs on my arms.

A purely instrumental song with no lyrics, this is all about helping us feel a but better after this dreadful lock down that has taken so many lives and torn the world. Pure music is hard to come by these days but this is a lovely treat that has been baked with love. ”Isolated” is a harmonious effort from a quality producer.

I like the vibe here as the sound is so pure and make me feel a bit happier and thinking less about what is going on outside. You can hear some harps here and the beat builds up to be very inspirational with that lovely piano beat. All in all this is a stunning single here that creates a lovely wave of energy that we can all climb and float on the water for a while. Staying sane in this time is the key to mental health and more music like this is always welcome with open arms.

Head through to Soundcloud to hear this fantastic track that will help with the blues.

Stainless Fields release their instrumental and soundful single Backs of Houses

Emerging as the first track on the album Somewhere Becoming Rain, Stainless Fields release their instrumental and soundful single Backs of Houses.

The song is a fusion of electronica and avant-garde music that alters the status quo of regular instruments in favour of an experimentation within robotic and spatial sound ranges as if depicting a future android civilization. In this imaginary scenario, Backs of Houses could be the perfect soundtrack for a Blade Runner-like movie or any science fiction film under the same theme.

Relying on an evocative and wide soundscape, the song is a sensorial experience where music gives way to a well-assembled noise-oriented style that strikes for its outstretched sound textures. Definitely ingenious if you think back to their experimental peers.

The entire album exposes innovative sound patterns, so do start with Backs of Houses and then go through all their other tracks. It’ll be noisily worth it!

While we’re used to beguiling doses of experimentalism when we delve into Alternative artist 8udDha bl0od’s tracks their recently released soundscape was chill-inducing.

If you could imagine the soundtrack to a Horror flick set in a Tibetan monastery, you’ll get a good idea of how their latest intensely atmospheric release L3<3lV:iVWh0m7h383ll70ll5;7h3F!n.:.l CUR<38.:.ll.:.?;G0.:5g.:.m8l!ngWi7h7h3 g0dD5:H3lR.:.i53R unfolds.

From the opulent chiming of bells to what can only be described as akin to the sound of rusted chains being dragged across the floor, you’ll hear it all in this indulgently disconcerting piece.

An instrumental folk ballad: 8udDha bl0od release 1nK3D

8udDha bl0od are a new discovery with every new release and their instrumental track 1nK3D is no exception.

Tranquility is the feeling and serene the atmosphere, giving you enough fair sound span to enjoy the textures of this folk ballad.

The classic guitar changing from open chords to melodic lines controls the spacious harmony cadenced by mild drums that merely accompany the gentle rhythm. Waving in the background, a flute sound chimes with the guitar melody, sweetening the song’s flavor and nourishing a delicate theme.

1nK3D is one out of the plentiful sound journeys you’ll embark on if you follow 8udDha bl0od.

Check out 1nK3D on Soundcloud.
