Shashaa Tirupati turned off the gaslight anthem and played her own indietronica masterpiece, ‘All About You’

Shashaa Tirupati has unveiled an installation of hypnotic indietronica that instantaneously seduces you into its gravity.  In the same way a narcissist’s magnetism is irresistible, the world-renowned singer-songwriter pulls you into her artfully beguiling exposition of the sanity-smothering experience of dealing with narcissism after being lured in by a gaslighting lothario.

Shashaa Tirupati’s aura in All About You is intoxicating in the same vein as Warpaint, Still Corners, and Widowspeak. Every vocal harmony and instrumental melody finds a new facet of your soul to stir as the demure vocal performance fights fire with avant-garde glamour.

The artist’s journey, from a multilingual playback singer to an independent music maven, is reflected in the intricate layers of this track. Trained in various Hindustani classical styles and proficient in over a dozen languages, Shashaa’s musical prowess is evident in every note. After following her passion, she broke into the industry under the mentorship of the legendary A. R. Rahman. The existential indie dance pop icon Saynt Ego augmented grief in ‘Big Mad World’

The indietronica icon in the making, Saynt Ego, strengthened the foundations that his legacy will undoubtedly rest upon with his double A-side single, Looking 4 U – Big Mad World.

While the vocals sing a bitter-sweet goodbye, the augmented-with-funk melodic lines pull you to transcendence and acceptance in Big Mad World. The chaos of the universe is efficaciously encapsulated in the hypersonic soundscape, and all the assurance you will need that you can overcome any obstacle on your healing journey lingers in the lyricism, which rings with melancholy standing alone. Within the anthemics of the indie dance-pop hit, the candour-fuelled verses are awakening poetry, which alludes to the tragedy of obsession with earthly escapism.

Penned after losing his best friend to suicide, Big Mad World tracks cosmic themes while being underpinned by the grief of knowing that the human experience can’t always be traversed with resilience alone.

Occupying a middle ground between Cigarettes After Sex and ABBA, Saynt Ego found plenty of room to assert his authenticity in the self-produced release, which was written by Will Retherford and the airwaves on September 8th.

Christelle brings out her inner-saboteur in her urban dance-pop single, Piccadilly

https://soundcloud.com/christelle_official/picadilly/s-bO5pD914l6f?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing

After a break from the airwaves, London’s Christelle is back to remind indie synth pop fans why she’s the Kate Nash of this generation with her latest single, Piccadilly. Keeping the pace with her hyper-dancey beats is the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s cleaver-sharp wit, which juxtapoxingly exhibits her relatability and iconic lyrical flair in the same breath.

Piccadilly is for every one that falls hard and runs just as fast when their inner saboteur takes control. It may be the most self-aware single we have heard this year with its increasing depth and playful self-effacing personality, amplified by the magnetic sense of expressive vulnerability. Few artists deserve to climb the charts more. She’s the whole package.

Piccadilly was officially released on July 29th. Hear it on SoundCloud.

Yajaira Eve has delivered her convectively sweet alt indie-pop track, Lover Like Me

Arizona-based indie-singer-songwriter Yajaira Eve, laid the soul and style on thick in her latest RnB pop single, Lover Like Me, which manages to keep the vibe of the track sweet while wrestling with convictive lyrics that go straight for the jugular on the types that always think they can do better while being hilariously blind to their flaws.

The individuality in the slightly off-kilter indie dance-pop production and the playful polyphonic tones pull together around the stellar songwriting that proves just how the 21-year-old singer-songwriter managed to become a platinum record artist so close to the inception of her career. We can’t wait to hear what follows or see how far she gets with her incandescently authentic talent.

Lover Like Me is now available to stream via YouTube.

Tanisha Sharma has made her euphoria-breeding debut with her single, Ecstasy

Tanisha Sharma made her prodigious dance-pop debut earlier this year with the release of the progressive indie synth-pop hit Ecstasy, which definitively proves that style and soul against substance is always a winning combination.

When anyone creates music for any reason but the true love for it and the inclination to breed positive sensation within the listener, it’s as disappointing as it is notable. Sharma finds a way to let her intent effortlessly resonate in the dance-worthy hit that more than has the capacity to fill a floor.

Tanisha Sharma has been honing in on her songwriting craft since the age of eight years old. It more than shows in the way Ecstasy doesn’t falter after making euphoria a theme; it resounds in every energised progression. We can’t wait to hear what follows.

Ecstasy is now available to stream via Spotify.

The planets all align for Rocco & TDC Tunes with new single ‘Cosmic’

Rocco & TDC Tunes

While the world blinks in pandemic darkness and people sit frustrated, confused, and nervous of the future, it seems dance singer/songwriter Rocco has not just been falling in love, but finding the whole experience a transcendental, psychedelic time. Perhaps best known for her single ‘Lovesick’, a collaboration with H two 0 for the Ministry of Sound, which reached No.1 in the UK Dance Charts, on ‘Cosmic’ Rocco collaborates with London-based writer/producer TDC Tunes to provide us with a high energy, soaring dance tune, all swelling keyboard chords, overlapping vocal lines, and thumping house beats.

There’s a Gabrielle-like quality to Rocco’s voice, a smoky huskiness that’s at once sexy and vulnerable, sitting over rising, chiming sequenced keyboards, hi hat patterns, and thunderous bass, building and rising then dropping to a trancey, psychedelic little breakdown before climbing once more to its ultimate crescendo.

The full track is released on December 18th across all major streaming platforms, you can stream this now on Spotify, and follow TDC Tunes and Rocco on Instagram.

Robin Novaku has released the most evocative Future Pop single of Summer 2020 with “Hold On”

It’s safe to say that EDM Pop producer, songwriter and composer Robin Novaku’s latest single “Hold On” featuring Jonas Wak is the most evocative Pop single of summer 2020.

Their instantly immersive, blissfully light soundscape carries an Indie vibe to amplify the accessibility of the Future Pop beat which is perfectly complemented by magnetically warm vocals. Neither the vocals nor the lyrics hold back on spilling plenty of amorously romantic appeal.

The hype around Robin Novaku’s sound is more than easy to understand with their effortlessly feel-good, organically resonant mixes. If you like to have your finger on the pulse of up and coming talent, you’ll want the Albanian artist on your playlists. There isn’t a vibe check on earth he couldn’t pass.

Gemma Moon – Hunters: Experimental Indie Dance Pop with Love from Manchester

Hunters is the second single released by Manchester based Indie artist Gemma Moon. A lot of artists have made me proud to live in Manchester which is exactly the sentiment that hit me listening to Hunters unravel.

The Dance Pop artist may have thrown swathes of Dub and Drum and Bass over her single, but the acoustic elements kept Gemma Moon’s single emotionally-steeped and authentically indie.

Whilst there is very little in the way of experimentalism that will surprise me no one could ever come to expect the sound of sweeping across a ukulele fretboard to pierce through an EDM Pop hit. Instrumentals aside Gemma Moon’s vocals are just as captivating, they pour even more essence into the already dizzyingly euphoric beat. Gemma promised a new ear worm, and she certainly delivered.
