MYLO BYBEE painted a mindful melodic rock masterpiece with their exposition of tainted free will in Master & Machine

The Idaho aural assassins, MYLO BYBEE, fired all the right melodic rock shots in their heaviest single to date, Master & Machine.

The angst-driven title single from their forthcoming LP traverses the scarcely-spoken-of-subject of how everything we do societally, personally, professionally, and artistically is impacted by someone else pulling the strings to spark deep contemplation on the issue of free will.

Even Sam Harris would have a field day with the exposition on how every good intent is blighted by societally parasitic phenomena, such as greed, corruption and misogyny. Master & Machine may hit hard, but after getting the ennui out of the way, the rest of the LP allows hope to permeate the bleakness of our current global landscape.

The collision between alt-rock and indie unravels with a rhythmic magnetism that fans of Death Cab for Cutie, Manchester Orchestra and Silversun Pickups will be organically drawn to. Reminiscences aside, there are no parallels to how Tyler Schlagenhauf melodically commands his vocal lines and contorts them into compassion-sharpened hooks.

Pleasure And Pain: Idaho-based storyteller Bosco wonders where the love went on ‘UNME’

As he looks deep within her fiery soul to see where the love went to after all these years, Bosco is worried that the darkness might be too far within and covering up all the former radiant light on his latest single called ‘UNME‘.

Bosco Oliver aka Bosco is a proud father and unique solo indie Americana/Country/Blues singer-songwriter who is based in Pocatello, Idaho.

With a towering presence that has you downright absorbed from start to finish, Bosco seems to possess the kind of raw voice that makes you take note and stop what you are doing immediately. He is a Dad first and an artist second – who shows us into his world that is soaked with gritty stories – that are only filled with truth and absent of that fake flash that so many unwisely fall into.

‘UNME‘ from the experienced Pocatello, Idaho-based Americana/Country/Blues solo artist Bosco, is such a striking track that it automatically takes you to a time when a past lover started to really concern you. He sings with real depth and these are proper lyrics that have been written by a man who has really lived – and could easily write a few books – that would be filled full of exciting stories.

This is the kind of classic sounding single, that you feel could live in any era as it makes you feel like you have heard one of those true underrated artists who like to stay underground as they make music for the love of creating memories.

Middle Fingers Up: Motivated Idaho metal band Artificial Aliens urge us to make it count this time with ‘Start Again’

A&R Factory Present: Apsley

Apsley found his love for music behind the drums at the age of 6. By high school, he was touring full time in a rock group while finishing his schooling online. His roots expanded by playing styles including rock, electronic, pop, hip-hip, and R&B. Along the way, he picked up a love for piano, guitar and singing as well. In the beginning of 2016, he put them all together and started writing for his new solo project, Apsley. He spent the whole year tucked away writing more than 40 tracks with big plans for 2017.

Sold is a song of realization, realizing that all of the pressures bestowed upon us by culture and society can suffocate us from seeing the truth. Are we truly making our own decisions or are we pressured by the fear to always do the right thing in society’s perspective? Understanding this is our first step to living purposefully, then we can grow to let go of fear and see the truth from our own eyes.
