Goshok’s Make It Right is a Tropic House Triumph of Fervid Soul and Blistering Hot Beats

Goshok started his latest tropic house pop hit, Make It Right, with an instant hook to cleanly cut through the layers of sound and instantaneously leave a lasting impression. From there on out, Make It Right is a masterclass in how to arrange tension and release; from the transcendence in the oscillating builds to the bursts of euphoria in the breaks, every progressive twist and turn will lead you further into the genius of Goshok. The scintillatingly curated sonics amplify the visceralism within the lyricism and vocals, which scorch with the heat of an old flame that you can’t bring yourself to reduce to ash and embers.

At 27 years old, the Czech producer, DJ and songwriter has effortlessly surpassed his influences and definitively come into his own as an EDM artist. If he keeps producing tracks in the same flawlessly deeply affecting vein as Make It Right, which will make you move and move you simultaneously, there’s no reason he can’t be bigger than his greatest influence, Kygo – especially as he will continue to drop hits throughout 2024.

The official video for Make It Right premiered on January 5th. Stream the video on YouTube.

IZZYE has made her official debut with the house-pop earworm of the summer, LATELY

Still trying to discover your ultimate high-energy anthem of the summer? Gaze right into the debut earworm from the one-woman house-pop powerhouse IZZYE, and find the addictive choruses you’ve been searching for.

‘LATELY’ is IZZYE’s first official debut single after her single Dance Forever landed a placement in the Love Island 2023 Winter Final episode. With her powered-by-soul strident vocal lines easily dominating the infectiously high-octane hooks, the hit has ‘playlist staple’ branded across the glossy radio-ready production.

Not content with creating run-of-the-mill floor-filler fodder, IZZYE worked with her co-songwriter, Darren Martyn, to orchestrate a liberatingly empowering hit which goes to show that even when you have been cast aside by someone who pretended to be all-in, being bitter and scorned is never the only option.

Stream the official music video for LATELY, which premiered on June 7th via YouTube.

TARISH blew the roof off house music with ‘blurry’

The Iraq-born, Sweden-hailing songwriter and producer, TARISH, blew the roof off the house genre with his stormer of a floor-filler, blurry.

With similar uninhibitedly high-energy to the hit, Filthy/Gorgeous by Scissor Sisters, read through the funky bass-dripping beats and the galvanizingly high vocal notes, blurry is an adrenaline-fuelled slice of euphoria which stores an endless supply of dopamine.

TARISH also audibly wears his Swedish House Mafia influence on his music producer sleeve, but never to the detriment of the originality of his resounding sound, which is currently criminally underrated. If you enjoy discovering underground artists before they break onto the mainstream, your time is running out to discover the electrifying visionary before everyone else.

Blurry hit the airwaves on April 21; hear it on Spotify.

Starya went interstellar with her cosmically ethereal electro-clash hit, Jealous

Fusing the provocative electro-clash energy and snappy vocal melodies of Peaches with the demure indie cool of the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, the luminary art-pop songstress Starya’s latest single, Jealous, is tantalisingly interstellar. But that isn’t all; this alchemically amalgamated cocktail hybridises itself even further with elements of hip-hop, techno and dubstep, giving the bass a kick and the beats an irresistible pulse you’ll want to synergise with time and time again.

LA is known for breeding iconic artists by the applecart, but if anyone has what it takes to rock it and squeeze out new juice it is the singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ who is making light work of transcendent aural domination. Once you’ve had your jealousy fill, stay tuned for the upcoming EP, Find The Key, set to be released in February 2023.

Jealous hit the airwaves on January 31st. It is now available to streams on all major platforms via this link.
