The Knottie Boys are on unhallowed ground with their horror punk hit, Monster Man

The Knottie Boys came through just in time for Halloween with their horror punk LP, The Weeping of Los Alamos, featuring the ferocious sonic juggernaut, Monster Man.

With The Creepshow-esque vocals, odes to The Misfits’ iconically infectious sonic signature and ska-reminiscent brass for good measure, Knottie Boys haunted the middle ground between psychobilly and horror punk with a tumultuous anthem that sweeps you up in its adrenalised riptide of frenetic energy.

As the third album from the Long Island-hailing alt-punk powerhouse who borrow influences from all across the punk spectrum, The Weeping of Los Alamos is set to skyrocket The Knottie Boys to even greater heights. Their ability to ensure their influences never outshine their ingenuity is on full display in the 15-part installation of cultivated chaos.

Real Blood: The Very Reverend wants to forget that face on electric new single ‘HOLYGHOST’

With a dark edge that has a rather ominous tone attached inside each second, The Very Reverend looks deeply for a new religion after getting let down before on this sharp new single ‘HOLYGHOST‘.

The Very Reverend is a fiery California-based alternative artist. He somehow warps bleeding alt-pop/rock, electronic, and also adds in a horror soundtrack influence, to baffle those innocent minds and has such a striking music style.

My music sways with a subdued energy that seduces his audience, before giving way to the snarling chaos lurking just below the surface.” – The Very Reverend

As you slowly open the creaking door to poke your eye out to see if its safe to go out again, we are flooded in with an intense track that certainly catches your attention rather quickly. His vocals shred in and cut your ears open with that rampaging vigor, as this is one of those tracks you either love or hate, just the way he likes it.

HOLYGHOST‘ from California’s alt-rock/horror artist The Very Reverend, creepily opens the dusty window to where so many wouldn’t even think about going through, even during the sun-lit daytime. This is a craftily created song that features lots of distorted sounds -with fully ravaging riffs that smash hard through your mindset – and has you looking around rather nervously, to find your true path to redemption.

West Wickhams – Where the Creatures Rule: Horror Noir Has a New Sound

There’s no better introduction to the Psychedelically-inclined Dark Punk duo, West Wickhams’ sound than the horror noir single ‘Where the Creatures Rule’.

The entrancingly dark single will undoubtedly enthral any fans of Bauhaus, while the accompanying music video pays ode to one of the greatest horror films ever made, Romero’s ‘Night of the Living Dead’, obviously.

I can’t help but feel that Where the Creatures Rule has very ‘2020’ connotations. As the artistically inclined creatively document the movements of the masses, the populous prove that Romero’s anxiety about unrest and wariness in the 60s was spot on.
