Alt Rock Artist Hellwaffles has released their most relatable single yet with “CoronaRock”

Hellwaffles

On their never-ending mission to make us all feel a little better about the chaos we’re living in, Hellwaffles has released their most relatable single to date “CoronaRock”.

With snarling tones which is sure to appease fans of Pavement and Dinosaur Jr, Corona Rock offers a nostalgic escape from our absurdist reality which is plagued with profound disappointment.

I’ll never get tired of hearing artist’s unique perspective on the lockdown. I always hit play in the hopes that I’ll find connection in the lyrics which I’ve been unable to find elsewhere. I struck gold with CoronaRock. On the grand scale of things, our 2020 plans being scuppered may feel like a first world problem. But CoronaRock reminds you that your disappointment is ubiquitous and valid while feeding you punchy anthemic Garage Rock.

You’ll have to wait a little longer before you can hear CoronaRock for yourselves. It will be available to stream via Spotify from the date of the release.

Hellwaffles has dropped their quaintly angsty Indie Punk Folk single “Audrey Hepburn”

After hearing Hellwaffles’ resonantly candid debut single “Training Wheels”, there was little chance we’d forget the Indie Punk Folk artist’s instantly endearing style. Upon hearing of the release of their second single “Audrey Hepburn”, we couldn’t help but dive right in and embrace the angsty quaint alchemy one more. It definitely didn’t disappoint.

The short and bitter-sweet track is as uncomplicated as they come. The frill-free Garage Lo-Fi-style guitar give the lyrics and vocals plenty of room to leave you transfixed by them as they playfully allude to Hellwaffles’ complicated relationship with the ultimate on-screen icon. It’s pointed, it’s playful, and it’s utterly ingenious.

We’re already stoked to hear what Hellawaffles serves up next with their unpredictably refreshing style.

Folk Singer Songwriter Hellwaffles Has Made Their Debut with the Amorously Sweet Single “Training Wheels”

Folk and Indie Punk converge in singer-songwriter Hellwaffles debut single “Training Wheels”. The instantly enamouring Lo-Fi track may just consist of an acoustic guitar and Alt Folk vocals, but that’s all that was required to create a resounding intimate single.

The lyrics run you through all too relatable mental health issues as the artist employs their sense of humour about the never-ending battle when it comes to keeping your sanity. Quite honestly, I can’t remember the last time I heard a more relatable single.

I’m already stoked to hear what comes next from Hellwaffles and their refreshingly candid style.
