Gospel Hip hop artist Sinseer shows sincere appreciation for his ‘Mama’ (feat. Wave)

After experiencing war firsthand after his stint in the dusty streets of Afghanistan, Sinseer sends out an India Got The Beats produced track via the incredible new single about telling her that he knows that she raised him right on ‘Mama(feat. Wave).

Jacory Thomas aka Sinseer is a Swainsboro, Georgia-raised indie Christian/Gospel Hip hop artist who loves to try out different genres to extend his music knowledge to unforeseen levels of enlightenment.

After receiving an unlawful DUI that challenged his honorable discharge, Sinseer valiantly defeated the court system. He left the armed services and settled into civilian life. However, that was the first of two run-ins with the law. The second, though baseless, led to him serving a five-month stint that encroached upon his first-semester enrollment in college. His case became the first of many that were an arbitrary act of injustice enforced by a rogue arm of law enforcement.” ~ Sinseer

Flowing with a sensational single that shows you that the good guys are still around despite all the darkness that can swamp the souls of so many, Sinseer is on top form with a track that sends your mind into a state of memories as you look back at those who looked after you when you needed it most.

Fresh off his time served, the artist poured everything into his music. He bared his soul in every track. That unwavering, passionate feel continues to be stamped on all his releases ever since.” ~ Sinseer

Mama‘ from Swainsboro, Georgia-raised indie Christian/Gospel Hip hop artist Sinseer, is an inspirational single about showing that he loves that special woman who gave him the right grounding that never knew he needed while growing up, but certainly knows now that she only wanted the best for him. Rapped with a blessing-wrapped attitude and an honest melody, this is the kind of track that might have small tears brewing from your eyes as you look above and show your gratefulness.

Michele Thomas lends her gospel neo-soul vocals to easy listening jazz in her single, I Know Because You Told Me So

The jazzy soulstress, Michele Thomas, has recently released her mould-breaking neo-soul single, I Know Because You Told Me So, which may be one of the most narratively-immersive jazz-fusion singles ever released.

The questioning, bold and introspective lyrics come into play once you’re suitably pacified by the mellifluous instrumental grooves. Becoming invested in the narrative that sheds a light on Thomas’ experience in the world is non-optional. Her gospel-Esque chanteuse vocals allow her vibrant and pure-hearted energy to radiate in the single that carries enough ease to fall into the easy-listening category. Yet, thanks to her vocal performance, I Know Because You Told Me So certainly isn’t without its revitalising zeal.

After finding her voice through gospel music, the Chicago-based singer-songwriter, entrepreneur and educator turned her stylistic grace to the freedom in the improvised nature of jazz. The airwaves are infinitely better for it.

I Know Because You Told Me So is now available to stream on Spotify.

Mike Marshall reached the pinnacle of impassioned pious pop with his debut single, Jesus.

Columbus, GA singer-songwriter Mike Marshall introduced his momentously evocative vocals to the airwaves in 2020 through his debut single, Jesus. If you are yet to introduce yourselves to his impassioned pious gospel pop style, there’s no better track to acquaint yourselves with.

Sonically, the debut single, which features Darren Parrish, carries all of the hallmarks of an epic soul-pop ballad. Yet, instead of fixating on interpersonal storms, the single stands as a testament to Mike Marshall’s mission to introduce humanity to the love of and healing which comes hand in hand with faith.

Even if it doesn’t leave you inclined to run off to church, the incandescent soul in the celestially arresting soundscape is enough to lift you alone; the gorgeously layered choral vocals are enough to leave you reaching for the tissues. Based on his debut, we can’t wait to hear what his debut LP, Come On In, will deliver. Come On In was created via a crowd-funded campaign, and it will be due for release in March 2022. It scarcely comes as a surprise that his community wants to get behind his talent. Our radar is an infinitely more vibrantly soulful place with his name on it.

Jesus. Is now available to stream on Spotify.

Jaye King

Mixing up soul, gospel, a little hip hop, and some mellow jazz-influenced easy listening pop, ‘Me & You’, the new single from Floridian-native Jaye King is a funky, feel-good, soulful ode to living life, partnership, and celebration; fusing Gregory Porter, a touch of John Legend, and maybe a little of Norah Jones and Jamie Cullum’s style all mingled with some upbeat spirituals and dash of R&B feels, and you’re smack in the middle of the ballpark here.
