Andre Meneses has put his own Alex Clare’s Dub Pop hit “Too Close”

Pop hits don’t get much more anthemically infectious than Alex Clare’s Brit-Award-snagging 2011 single Too Close. Well, apart from when emerging artists such as Andre Meneses put their own spin on the sound and project even more soul into the vocals.

Andre Meneses’ slightly whiskey-soaked vocals create an alchemic contrast against the instrumental progressions which remain as effervescent as ever while giving the track a brand new Indie Blues Rock almost grungy edge.

Any fans of Calvin Harris’ sultrily scratchy vocals will easily become enamoured by Andre Meneses’s sublimely serrated cover.

Alecness – Bars Full of Stars: Sticky-Sweet Future Pop

Up and coming artist Alecness’ futuristic approach to Pop music won’t fail to leave you transfixed, especially in their standout single “Bars Full of Stars”.

The soundscape may be a hazy sticky-sweet arrangement, but in perfect contrast to the dreamy concordant instrumentals, you’ll find Alecness’ strikingly bold lyrics which will ensure that you’re as hooked into the lyrical narrative as you are the melodies in Bars Full of Stars.

Once you hear it, there’s little chance of you forgetting the Electronic Indie Pop single which oozes with magnetic kaleidoscopic colourful tones as you’re pulled along by the deftly produced progressions.

There’s a smorgasbord of ingenuity in the mix but you’ll find it all too easy to let Bars Full of Stars consume your consciousness.
