Blackpool EDM artist The Future Collective Have Dropped Their Latest Mix

Blackpool, UK-based EDM artist The Future Collective have proven themselves to be more than worthy of their title with their latest Future House mix “Funky Sound”.

The mix has all the makings of a guaranteed floor-filler including lashings of Funk and shimmering groove-deep euphoria. The solid beats, hype-infusing vocals, and immersive build-ups all keep you suitably entranced throughout the mix. Funky Sound stands as a testament to The Future Collective’s talent when it comes to creating rhythms to appeal to your own rhythmic pulses.

Future Pop Meets Techno in DIA’s Second Single “Call from Space”

“Call from Space” is the second evocatively visceral Electronica single to be released by up and coming artist DIA. With emotive Pop Rock vocals fading in over Minimalistic Techno beats, the single offered all of the accessibility of a Pop track alongside the multi-layered progressive nature of a Techno track.

Expect plenty of atmospheric build-ups before DIA allows the euphoria to break along with a succinct amount of soul being poured into the otherwise alien mix through the vocals.

With most tracks finding a tone or emotion is as easy as hitting play, but with Call from Space, there was a lamentable subtle moroseness entwined with the slight spills of euphoria from the softly sonic electronic effects. The depth of the soundscape didn’t fail to give me chills, and I’m fairly certain I won’t be the only one.

Andrei Laszlo – Stuck in the Middle: Infectiously Happy Future House

Andrei Laszlo’s Future House single “Stuck in the Middle” hasn’t failed to attract plenty of hype since its release in September. Many up and coming Electronica artists may struggle to get anyone hooked in their sound, but Andrei Laszlo’s feat of progressively dynamic electronica gives you little choice whether you get immersed in the soundscape.

It’s jazzy, it’s soulful, it’s happy, and perhaps most importantly, it never reminds you that you’re listening to a sequence of electronic effects.

The organic rhythm behind the beats almost gives Stuck in the Middle a tribal feel, but the instantaneously enamouring vocals transform the mix into a catchy Pop EDM hit which you’ll struggle to forget. If you take a chance on any new Electronica artist this year, make it Andrei Laszlo.
