Resonant Quietus: BLVCK GARDEN expresses the inexpressible in his emo rap hit, ‘MY SILENCE’

BLVCK GARDEN’s single ‘MY SILENCE’ is an intricate exploration of how silence is the loudest scream. BLVCK GARDEN is just one of the guises of Carlos Fabre, an artist with roots deeply entrenched in electronic music and hip-hop. As BLVCK GARDEN, Fabre channels his versatility into an emo rap project that resonates with an irrefutable intensity.

The track initiates with a robust thrum of harsh, reverberant bass—a foreboding echo that sets the stage before the beat escalates beneath sharp-with-candour bars delivering the pinnacle of vulnerability.

Fabre constructed a soundscape where spatial effects and the dynamics of the instrumentation speak volumes. Each verse is delivered with a raw, freestyle energy yet carries the weight of a seasoned poet’s ink, unveiling a spectrum of emotions that connect through stark honesty.

Emerging from his diverse musical background—having honed his skills in production and instrumentation remotely via RRFC—Fabre’s latest endeavour in emo rap hints at a promising new direction. With aspirations to sign with a label and further his reach, ‘MY SILENCE’ is a sign of massive things to come from the emo rap luminary.

MY SILENCE hit the airwaves on October 6th; stream the track on SoundCloud now.

Veggie Freshingtin has released his epic Afrobeat hip hop single, So Smooth.

‘So Smooth’ is the latest unforgettably authentic single from up and coming hip hop artist Veggie Freshingtin. Fans of Akon, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent and Ne-Yo will appreciate the fiery symphonic production and high energy rapid-fire rap bars that pull you deeper into the massive production.

There may not be the greatest synergy between the beats and the vocals, but Veggie Freshingtin’s true to voice vocals still carry plenty of command in the eccentric but infectious all the same single.

So Smooth was officially released on September 12th; it is now available to stream on YouTube.

Kouta attacks injustice in the Middle East with his latest hip hop single, ‘Fall’.

For his latest single, ‘Fall’, up and coming Colorado born and raised hip hop artist Kouta used his platform to speak out about the injustices in the middle east. Given that so few people are willing to speak out about the conflict, Fall leaves you utterly floored as familiar thought starts to resonate.

Kouta proves that you don’t need to pick a political side to demand an end to destruction and devastation. Standing alone one song won’t change the world, but it can cause a positive ripple effect of positive and progressive change by opening up minds and making sure the conversation stays fixed on subjects that we need to address.

Fall may leave you with a lump in your throat, but it’s an emotional rollercoaster worth riding. It hits just as hard as Eminem’s Toy Soldiers. Kouta uses music as an outlet, but by the time it hits the airwaves, it has the potential to work as everyone’s means of catharsis. It’s a much-appreciated olive branch of connection when it is so easy to feel isolated by your anger and anxiety.

Fall is now available to stream via YouTube.

Shilla has dropped their soulfully intellectual freestyle mix “834” prod Manny Manhattan

https://soundcloud.com/shillasound/834-freestyle-prod-by-manny-manhattan

Breaking Rap artist Shilla has dropped their latest track 843 Freestyle, and it may be one of the most compelling freestyle tracks I’ve ever heard.

Shilla’s intellectual, insightful and evocative lyrics almost allow the beats to disappear entirely as you lock into the emotion which is projected in the bars. Shilla served up a serious amount of soul in 834 Freestyle, and it’s not every day that you can say Freestyle Rap hits hard in that capacity.

There may have been a nostalgic element or two within the production, but there’s no disputing that Shilla is bringing fresh new tracks to the airwaves. He’s an incredibly unique artist who more than deserves a spot on your radar.

Breaking Hip Hop artist Q Capone has dropped their freestyle rap hit “Gang X3”

If you love the raw and organic flow of freestyle Hip Hop, you’ll want to make room on your playlists for Q Capone’s debut single Gang X3.

Since the release of Gang X3, Q Capone has dropped two subsequent hits, yet their 2020 release Gang X3 is the best introduction to the artist’s playful and energetic approach to production.

Gang X3 may be a fairly lo-fi mix, but the high-vibe melodies will lift you up all the same while Q Capone lays down adrenalizing his bars in absolute synergy with the light warm Trap beats.

There’s little room to wonder why there’s so much hype around Q Capone and their exuberant sound. They’re definitely one to watch.

LOVEbest – 120FREESTYLE X Messiah: Infectiously Fluid Freestyle Rap

https://soundcloud.com/waxsether/120freestyle-x-messiah

If you love the flow of rhythmic freestyle Hip Hop, look no further than the mellifluous new mix “120FREESTYLE” from up and coming Rap artist LOVEbest.

While LOVEbest has proven that they’re more than capable of lyrically dominating a beat independently, there’s an infectious vibe and chemistry between him and Messiah. It’s easy to see why they were brought in to perfectly round-off the track.

The Family Guy samples in the prelude set the tone for the playful, experimental, and in parts comically endearing single. With the mix concluding on some fairly ominous yet light-hearted laughter, there’s little chance that you’ll forget this truly personal and expressive mix which leaves all the pretence out of Hip Hop.
