Zachary Ray sings from the soul with loving ”Eyes on You”

With a story about love and heartbreak, we all struggle with our faith on occasions. The sad times that have engulfed our hostile planet make it hard to smile sometimes. Through music with a real message, we can lift up and be inspired.

Zachary Ray sings through it all and has kept a positive attitude no matter what. This is the kind of message that warms the heart and gives hope. This music teacher and performer uses his gifts to help others and this is a selfless man who just wants peace.

Zachary Ray has recently returned back from India and it was there where he met the love of his life. I feel like this song is about her and their child. ”Eyes on You” is a very touching song and shows his care and passion for their well-being. Zachary takes us on a whirlwind of a journey and throughout I was taken aback by his strong voice that lifts through the storm of 2020. This is the kind of music that needs to be blaring across speakers in parks and shops to remind all of us that it’s going to be okay, if we believe and stay united.

Lindsay Brazell stands up for the ladies with defiant ”Placeholder”

Lindsay Brazell is one inspiring woman. This fantastic Indie-Folk artist from Simpsonville in South Carolina, is back with her new song called ”Placeholder”. This is a statement song with a beautiful melody and a real message for both young and old.

Currently doing online music lessons while schools are closed up, Lindsay is certainly keeping herself busy right now. The Music educator/singer-songwriter and blogger, has released ”Placeholder” to the world and it’s a defiant message that no woman should be messed around with and played. Feeling used after being cheated on is a horrible feeling and you can hear the frustration in Lindsay’s voice. Her message is that this shouldn’t happen to any woman in the world while drawing in previous experiences to express herself eloquently.

With a soothing voice, thought out lyrics with meaning and soul, Lindsay Brazell’sPlaceholder” deserves a place in our hearts and ears. This is a beautifully crafted song that has a message that is needed in today’s society of quick love and being force-fed bad role models. Lindsay Brazell is the type of woman and inspiring energy that that kids need to be listening to during lunch breaks.

Prepare to be captivated by B.W. Johnson’s artfully pensive Alt Folk Pop single “I Can’t Row for Two”

B.W. Johnson’s stripped-bare, emotively haunted standout single “I Can’t Row for Two” had us transfixed from the prelude. As you can see, the track title alone offers pensive poetry. Yet that linguistically bruising wit is just a drop in the ocean compared to what this artful Lo-Fi Folk Pop single contains.

If you can imagine what Radiohead would sound like if Thom Yorke took their sound in a slightly folkier direction and used warmer organic tones, you’ll get an idea of the kind of exploratively emotive alchemy which spills from this timelessly striking soundscape.

I Can’t Row for Two is just one of the singles which feature on B.W. Johnson’s second album French Kiss Lessons, the entire record will undoubtedly enamour any fans of Elliott Smith.

Yana – Trapped in a Cage: Arcanely Baroque Celtic Folk

Folk singer-songwriter Yana’s latest single “Trapped in a Cage” is an enchantingly baroque orchestration which pairs cinematically theatrical instrumentals with poetically resonant lyrics.

The archaic soundscape may not be everyone’s cup of tea. But for anyone who finds favour in archaically beguiling singles, you’ll definitely want to make Trapped in a Cage a firm fixture on your playlists.

Since Yana made her debut in 2019 with her single Distant Shore, she’s garnered plenty of acclaim in Ireland and across Europe. With her debut EP due to be released in June 2020, we have no doubt that Yana is one to watch. Even though her Folk roots style is steeped in influence from the past, her lyrics are contemporary enough to ensnare you and lead you into anachronistic escapism.
