Annie Balmori is a Madrid, Spain born and raised drama graduate and opera-trained soprano singer-songwriter, who is now based in sometimes-sunny London, England. She is the type of flamboyant artist that puts her heart and soul into every lyric and note that she elegantly drops.

With music that makes you close your tired eyes and sing joyfully within, she is a truly classy musician who performs with that world class feel to her.

Bristol’s Einsam leads the way in 2020 with the highly enjoyable Indie-Pop ‘Pressing Matters‘ as he impresses on this catchy new track.

Sam Jackson is Einsam and he wrote this new song during his stay in stunning Vienna when he was on holiday. This is a lovely effort, full of fantastic flows and a beat that will be in your head for hours. The deep vocals push out the speakers perfectly and this is a wonderland of enjoyment. This is the kind of music to take your shoes off to, take a swim and think about the future.

You wonder what is to come, you are over-thinking right now and just want things to be clearer. This is the time to work out what you want in life as you know that this is the time to make it happen.

‘Pressing Matters‘ from UK based Einsam is a song that is all about moving forward and working out what is important in life. This is an extremely valuable lesson, full of life and is quite enchanting. A promising track from the Bristol singer, this is a track that needs to be noticed.

UK artist Glenn Godfrey sings with loving memories on ‘I Wish‘ (Official Lyric Video) and this is a fine song from a caring singer with a strong voice. He makes music in honor of his late Dad, his biggest fan and this is a top single with meaning.

A singer-songwriter from Essex, who has had the privilege of performing alongside some great artists such as, Tom Odell, Professor Green, Devlin, Mark Ronson and The Fratellis, Glenn is building up his name in the UK music scene.

You love them so much and things are great. Then you get the call that you had been dreading. Things are going to be different now and you wish that things were so different. Life will be harder but you must be strong and do what you love. Making music will keep you strong.

Glenn Godfrey is terrific on ‘I Wish‘ (Official Lyric Video) as this is a difficult topic to deal with. This is a lovely indie song with lots of layers full of wonderful vocals and the delivery is flawless. A fine effort indeed from the UK singer.

Barking native Femi Jaye climbs up high with ‘Tree Man’ ft Habeeb

British-born Femi Jaye is always pushing the UK Afro-fusion envelope and he impresses yet again with the new single ‘Tree Man‘.

Barking in East London is where we find this incredible talent in the UK. After being in the game since 2014, Femi Jaye is a name that is well-known and he impresses yet again on his latest track. Always an innovator and creative, we find a mellow soul on this one as he is joined skillfully by Habeeb.

This is a young artist that has been growing to this point and now is now truly reaping the rewards. From a family of musicians, this UK-born musician is in a joyful mood here. This is a happy track that shows where he is in his life. The will to make quality music is there and inside, he is feeling really good. ‘Tree Man‘ is a 420 friendly track that smokes in with an ambiance that is welcome in 2020. Femi Jaye is here to stay.

UK singer Kane sings about being cheated on by the girl of his dreams on the debut track ‘Guilty‘.

Kane is a singer-songwriter from Leicester in England. He was enjoying himself in Australia and on the holiday of his dreams. Then of course, corona struck, and he had to go home. No worries however. This has lead to him making his debut song and this is a well-sung track that strikes deep inside the heart like a flaming shooter, the story is so real and the taste is bitter.

You are with someone that you care about so much. The love is real and you are happy. Then suddenly, something is different. You have a feeling that something is a bit off and you think that she might be seeing someone else. You ask about who she is chatting to on her phone and you get a vague answer. You know now that you were right. It’s not just some guy and she looks guilty. Things are now bleak and the love is over.

‘Guilty‘ from the new singer Kane is a fine debut effort. The lyrics are so well constructed and the energy matches what is going on. He got cheated on which is a horrible feeling. Luckily, he is a resistant young man who will learn from this and be stronger. This is a quality effort and we might be witnessing a new name to watch in the UK music scene.

Milena Estelle sings with such sweet energy on her sexy new R&B laced single ‘You & I‘.

Milena is a singer, performer and music tutor from Heidelberg in Germany. She was educated in London, England and this experience behind the mic is for all to see.

You want to be with your crush so badly. You can’t stop thinking about this love and how it makes you feel. This is all you want and you will do anything you can to make it happen. This is true love all the way, you can feel it in your fingers and you can feel it in your bones.

Milena Estelle has been playing music for many years and her variety in different genres is for all to see. She discovered her first own musical style when she started rearranging Pop songs into Modern Jazz. She released her first album in 2018 which has been the start of constant music releases. German Pop/R’n’B Single ‘Der Weg’ in 2019 was a big success. One year later she released a Cinematic/Alt/Pop song called ‘Free‘ which backs up this fine music discography.

A beautiful tribute to Stevey from new UK artist Low Girl on ”ICU”

Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire, England is the home of indie UK singer Lowgirl. She is back with a fitting tribute to her friend Stevey on ”ICU”.

Lowgirl sings with such meaning on ”ICU”. She talks about memories of moments together, his support while performing live and how he always wanted to be in her music video. This time has arrived but isn’t the way it should of happened. Nonetheless, Lowgirl sends her friend a wonderful tribute that he would be proud of with a stunning song, full of soul and absolute meaning.

With much sadness, Stevey is not coming home but this is such an amazing track that it puts tears in my eyes. To lose someone so close is a horrible experience as you saw them so close. Lowgirl’s ”ICU” is such a sad but memorable track.

“Some people will be able to identify with the anticipation of a call from the hospital. Every day we would wait and every day the news would be worse. Being in that constant state of suspense starts to eat away at any hope you felt for things to work out. In the end the only thing I could do for him was to write about him” –Low Girl

”ICU” is just a taste of a string of upcoming releases that will culminate with a debut EP in the Autumn of 2020. For a new artist that is just getting started, it’s so admirable that Low Girl is pushing forward during this tough time. She is a special soul with incredibly real lyrics and her music is so well-received. Lowgirl is an artist to keep an eye on closely.

Noyou fly in with their reflective message on ”We’re So Sorry”

Sunderland, England is the home of Noyou and they lead the way with their fantastic new single called ”We’re So Sorry”.

With a synthy fuzzy electronic fun pop rock style, this is more of a real story. The track is of an artist that is sharing his feelings about racism and how he doesn’t quite know what to do about this situation. However through music, the message is clear. Sorry the world is like this and that it shouldn’t be happening. Hopefully things will change and through unity it can.

”We’re So Sorry” from Noyou is a journey that takes you to a far-away place musically with a serious tone. With their music on BBC Music Introducing, I am so excited to catch this fantastic band live when venues open up again. The Sunderland group Noyou are an impressive outfit and with regular music releases, they are making their mark and fast.

”Sleeping Giants” from multi-talented French-British artist Chloe Levaillant is simply perfect

Chloe Levaillant is a French-British multi-talented musician, creative and teacher who sets the standard in indie-folk 2020 with a song that is simply perfect. ”Sleeping Giants” rises up and is one of the best songs of 2020.

This is something so pure and beautiful. With dreamy vocals from Chloe who is elegant and real. This song puts me in a relaxed state and the soothing guitar strums adds so much to the electric energy of peace. An artist that has been singing since the age of 7, you get the feeling that Chloe Levaillant knows herself inside and the tone of her voice is delivered to keep the heart warm.

Chloe studied opera when her family moved to France and from there the creativity only increased. After High School, the determined and creative Chloe, juggled street performance as a hula hoop dancer, music and life. From there a Music Degree followed and the fire was lit inside. This is a musician who is reaching new heights and she is willing to put the hours in to make it happen.

”Sleeping Giants” is an indie classic form the London based artist that has folk fused sounds of pure heart and soul inside. This is a creative who feels like she is only going to get better and better. With a peaceful soul and a video that is call awaken your fire inside to look for the good things in life.

The fascinating Chloe Levaillant just delivered a song that rises about the dark clouds. Satisfaction of something beautiful and what is the secret to being happy? This is a release that has trees, flowers, nature and an artist that is a sleeping giant too.

Clapham band Matty Long and The LoveGuns raise the standard on ”Sunshine Love”

Matty Long and The LoveGuns are a 4-piece indie rock act from South London and these talented lads are back with the funky-fresh single called ”Sunshine Love”.

You will need to turn your phone off, put your shades on turn up the volume for this one. With the click of a tape being injected into the old school player, I got the feeling that this had to be a good song. This is indeed the case and the Clapham-based band press play on 2020 with this fine release. This is a summer track for sure, with the excellent guitar solo’s, raw vocals and rumbustious drums. This is a band on the rise and they know it.

”Sunshine Love” from Matty Long and The LoveGuns is about that summer love, good and bad decisions. This is a groovy song with world class musicianship from the fast-rising London band who must be itching to get back on stage.

Matty Long and The LoveGuns are one the UK’s most promising acts and they rock out to incredible heights on their new single. This is an essential listen indeed as the exciting band raise the standard of songs in 2020.
