Lux Kiddo has released his harsh electronic hit, Robot Curmudgeon

With percussive inspiration from the likes of Aphex Twin and Squarepusher, Lux Kiddo’s latest harsh electronica mix, Robot Curmudgeon, flows with an ensnaring tempo and an even more magnetic pull through the progressive influence of Infected Mushroom.

The Brooklyn-born, Phoenix-based experimental artist has worked as a sound tech and musician since the relocation from his home town; in 2020, he dropped his debut album Cityscapes. Now that dancefloors are back open, we’re sure they will be eager to hear more of his uniquely explorative style that uses familiar industrial/EBM elements with refreshing melodic flair.

Ace Gordon is a skillful British Columbia, Canada-based electronic artist who has vast experience as he was formally in the punk rock world, before moving towards his bouncy EDM style. He makes a terrifically styled blend of music that is packed full of intricate webs of quality soundscapes.

‘Another Day In Paradise‘ from the experienced British Columbia, Canada EDM artist Ace Gordon, is a pure and peaceful cover from a really memorable track which still gets so many spins all over the globe. He keeps the vocals nice and crisp whilst adding in his own tasty mixture – on this gem of a song that certainly has you thinking back to the past – when lyricism was way more appreciated than it is now.

This is a quality tribute from a well-respected electronic artist who shows much love to the monumental Phil Collins track from 1989.

Lorenz System has released his ambiently absorbing electronica debut EP, Sonne.

The highly accoladed artist and electronic composer Nathan Maurice has started his new project under the moniker Lorenz System. His latest release is the 4-track EP Sonne, which delivers deconstructed downtempo EDM beats with ambient lo-fi hip hop kicks.

The perfect introduction to his ambiently absorbing electronica style is the lead track, Yobuko which starts by spilling choral guitar tones before the beat kicks in and carries you through the cathartically sun-kissed instrumental soundscape. The soul that emanates from the release is practically unparalleled in the realms of ambient electronica; vocals are surplus to requirement with the evocative pull of the melodies.

LA’s Tyler Garrett shines in his latest album ‘Morning Star’.

Emerging electronica singer-songwriter and artist Tyler Garrett has given us a sneak peek of what is to come in his upcoming album, Morning Star, due for release on June 22nd.

The title track is an intoxicatingly up-vibe mash of future bass, hyper pop, RnB and ambient electronica. The LA-hailing artist discernibly brings the energy, but no part of this visceral mix ever feels over facing. The 33-year-old has already discernibly perfected the balance between groove and aural euphoria.

Previously, his popular tracks have racked up over 1-million streams; it is easy to see how Morning Star will follow. He has a unique way of bringing raw intimacy to massive productions. We are sure it will see him go far in 2021 and beyond.

Techno Victim’s techno-funk hybrid, ‘Funk It’, is the ultimate EDM playlist staple.

If you like your techno on the darker side of the tonal palette, you’ll want to immerse yourselves in Techno Victim’s (AKA Christopher Rapkin) latest single Funk It. The international EDM artist and producer weaved organic funk grooves amongst the chilling bass-driven tones; despite the experimentalism, Funk It is as easy to slip into as any of Daft Punk’s iconic hits.

The textural contrast that the elements of funk bring through the choppy staccato guitar rhythms are nothing short of ingenious. They allow Funk It to unravel as an all-consuming feat of EDM in a way that is quickly becoming with synonymous with the enigmatic producer’s sound.
