Spotlight Feature: Will Sync injected depth into Deep House with his EDM club anthem, Take a Shot

With his latest hit, Take a Shot, Will Sync went beyond riding the waves of Deep House; he went against the current to emerge as an unreckonable force in the genre in the same sonically hedonic vein as David Guetta and Calvin Harris.

The UK-based EDM producer dropped a bomb of a track that takes all the familiar elements of the genre and fuses them with something undeniably more. From the first beat, the track hits hard with its signature bassline, drawing you into its relentless energy. Yet, it’s the layered textures that push Take a Shot to the forefront of the EDM scene, injecting a refreshing depth into deep house that will undoubtedly command the dancefloor.

Co-produced with Paul Stanborough, Take a Shot balances a unique vocal contrast that elevates the overall intensity of the song. The interplay between ethereal female vocals and the deeper, darker male vocals brings a fierce dynamic to the track. It’s a combination that pulls listeners into a world of feverish euphoria, while the tight production keeps the tension simmering just below the surface.

If you’re sick of hearing EDM heavy-hitters and chart pop hits on the dancefloor, lock into how he synthesises deep house with more mainstream dance elements to build a sound that is as focused on creating a danceable groove as it is on capturing a sense of reality—something Sync believes the club scene has been missing. It’s a move that’s already paying off, as evidenced by his rising star status, recognition from major names in the industry, and his growing catalogue of hits.

From Surgeon to Synths: CORM!! Unleashed Electrifying Ecstasy with ‘Lose My Mind’

If you tune into one up-and-coming EDM producer this year, make it CORM!! His latest hit, Lose My Mind, which will euphonise the airwaves with exhilaration is set to drop on May 3; when it does, the impact will be colossal.

The anticipation for the first drop builds right from the intro of lush reverb and female vocals, which break through the arcane atmosphere to directly deliver a sensuously melancholic vignette of heartbreak.

The emotional underpinnings may be heavy, but the ecstasy within the electrifyingly layered and heavy bass-bolstered progressions carries them effortlessly allowing pain and vulnerability to transmute into a synthesised storm of vindication which proves that even if you do lose your mind, you can still come to life on the dancefloor.

When CORM!! isn’t proving his mettle as the architect of visceral EDM floor-fillers, he’s going by the name Dr Jason Cormier, donning a white coat and living up to his legacy as a world-renowned neurosurgeon. Inspired by the likes of Skrillex, Diplo, and Tiesto, CORM!! has a varied discography, ranging from dubstep, trap, future house, big room and pop; hit play on Lose My Mind, and you’ll meet a hybridic earworm that won’t just bed down, it will arrest your rhythmic pulses.

JBRRMUSIC produced the visceral ‘Feeling of XTC’ in his latest EDM hit

JBRRMUSIC refused to follow in anyone’s footsteps with his latest hit EDM single, Feeling of XTC, which brings everything that it says on the titular tin.

The EDM track which unravels as equal parts progressive house pop and euphoric techno follows a series of critically acclaimed and relentlessly playlisted and airplayed hits from the rising UK EDM producer who always thinks forward and takes his fans into the future of electronica with his innovative approach to alchemising aural ecstasy.

Feeling of XTC broke the EDM mould with its short and exhilaratingly sweet 2-minute duration. The succinct whirlwind of massive beats, build-ups so intense you may forget to breathe, and gravity-defying crescendos created a kinetically electrifying platform for the crystalline-with-soul female pop vocals to allude to the immense power of falling in love.

If anything can come close to the feeling of surrendering to someone completely and the subsequent addiction to the way that person makes you feel, it’s this monolith of an earworm which carries endless cross-over appeal. The sporadic tumultuous touches to the production became an efficacious sonic visualisation of love’s capacity to shake you to your core, leave you head over heels, and out of touch with gravity.

Feeling of XTC was officially released on February 23; stream the single on Spotify.

GrainyPastel – Ovrdone: Kaleidoscopically Euphoric EDM

The Oklahoma-hailing independent music producer, GrainyPastel, siphoned euphoria through his latest entrancing EDM earworm, Ovrdone. The jazzed-up hip-house instrumental hit flexes its polyphonic charm as the snares meet the synths to spill a kaleidoscope of polished colour that will brighten any mood in just one hit.

His ambition and drive to spread the love through his high vibe productions sonically shines through in the transcendently electric feat of electronica, which refuses to colour inside the lines of an electronic sub-genre. You’d be incredibly hard-pressed to find another electronica producer with a more vibrant sonic signature. When he’s not crafting floor-fillers and dopamine-spillers, he is often found dabbling in other genres, from cinematic scores to jazz ensembles to pop hits.

Ovrdone was officially released on December 2nd; it is now available to stream on YouTube.

Tropic house fuses with blues in Lekna’s latest single, ‘Want It’, featuring Liel Bar-Z.

London-based EDM producer and guitarist, Lekna’s latest single, ‘Want It’, may unravel as a definitive tropical house mix, but pay close attention to the shimmering melodies, and you will find that the notes pull themselves up from the roots of blues.

Liel Bar-Z’s mesmerising vocals don’t dominate the mix, instead, the harmonic effect-laden vocal notes seem to seamlessly breathe around the ardent and arrestive beats that will make sure that your rhythmic pulses are interconnected with the bassline far before the drops start to open up aural rabbit holes beneath you.

With plenty more mixes locked and loaded, and plans to release an EP in 2022, Lekna deserves a spot on your radar.

Want It will be available to stream from June 4th. You’ll be able to check it out for yourselves by heading over to Soundcloud.
